The Bible gives us many reminders about the importance of selecting kind words and how our words impact others. We often say don't judge a book by it's cover. Or that beauty is only skin deep...but, did you know this lesson is actually in the Bible? Today's episode teaches kids that it is what is on the inside that really matters.

1 Samuel 16:7 

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Everything happens as God wants it to happen. So, God DOES hear your prayers, and he will answer...but he’ll always answer from HIS point of view which is higher and broader than ours. Today's lesson helps kids understand what happens when they pray, and how we need to have faith in God's answer that can sometimes come a bit differently than what we expect.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
