Kim Jinnett on Building Better Workplaces

Kim Jinnett, PhD, is a systems thinker, collaborative social scientist, and organizational strategist with over 30 years of experience advancing community wellbeing across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. She is the Founder and CEO of the GoodWorkRegistry, where she collaborates with community members, employers and universities to co-create education, research and learning efforts that promote continuous learning and improvement.
Kim has deep experience in partnerships and grantmaking from her time at the Wallace Foundation, RAND and a variety of community-based and governmental organizations. Most recently, Kim co-led health policy and systems research and pilot efforts at Genentech, focusing on health equity, social determinants of health, and evidence-based strategies for improved access to care and better outcomes. She also served as Executive Vice President at the Integrated Benefits Institute and co-founded the Center for Workforce Health and Performance, where she conducted pioneering research on worker health, employer practices and organizational success.
