I'm a San healer, meaning I work with plants and ancestors as well as own my own label called Indogicures, I'm the founder of project mantis that became IYX Africa over 20 years of San research and indigenous knowledge systems. I consider myself a Southern African Native revolutionary with revolutionary ideas to where and how my people should live in present day society. I'm an agro-ecology practitioner, a huntsman as well as a natural survivalist.

In this episode, Simi chats to Mlungisi Mthembu. In July 2022, Mlungisi initiated his fifth community cleanup at a strip of land used as an illegal dumping ground in Durban, KZN, attended by over 40 community members. He managed to organise supplies and support from the local municipality, and is a great example of individuals being able to create change in their communities.
