It is officially the holiday season! So we are starting a series about showing kindness throughout the holidays. And what better way to kick off our Holiday Series than to give a huge shout out to all the hard working retail workers out there! They go through immensely difficult times during the holidays and even more with a pandemic. So today we will discuss our retail workers and how we can show them love, kindness and support. Welcome to the season two premiere of Kindness without borders. I want to preface this season premiere with a warning. Our topic is a very hard one this week. And you maybe very well become offended. I assure you that is not my Intention. But the topic is so important for America to become the best it can be. Our topic? Where do we go from here now that the election is over. We will talk about the reputation of American's and how the rest of the world views us. Plus, how we can stand together and truly be one nation. We all like to think of ourselves as unselfish. Very few want to be viewed as a selfish person. But just how generous are you? We have a special guest with us this week who will talk about how generosity had changed her life, then we will take a fan question which will help us explain what it means to be generous and how generosity is so much more than only financial. September is National Suicide Prevention Month. So our episode this week is a special feature discussing the importance of suicide awareness and how we can help those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts. We will share a fairly well-known story of a man who attempted suicide and what his thought process was. Then later we will discuss how we can be vigilant and help those who may be experiencing suicidal thoughts. All of this and more on this weeks episode of Kindness Without Borders!

Let’s face it, the United States is a divided nation. Everyday this becomes more and more apparent. We are a nation torn by racial divide, religious divide, division between sexual orientation and, actually we are even divided between economic status to a point. But at what cost? These divisions cause a barrier between not only us as US citizens, but between the US and other countries. On today’s episode we will be discussing some possibly controversial topics for some people. We will tell a story of two opposite groups of people, coming together for the greater good of their community. Then later we take a question from a fan that will lead us to a discussion about tearing down those barriers in the workplace and how we can apply it to the rest of our community and world.  This week I am starting out our episode with a warning. During this podcast there may be times that you feel like you are being targeted about different behaviors on Social Media. I do want everyone to know I am not targeting anyone, however our discussions are going to be very straight forward and could hit close to home for you and make you think deeply about your own actions and behaviors online. That is the point. We will look at five social media posts that have promoted kindness and then later we will dive into a hard discussion about our own behaviors on social media.
