The previous chapter ended with a call for workers for the harvest; this chapter begins with the commissioning of the twelve, whom Jesus sends to the harvest field two by two. As born-again Christians, we also are commissioned to go into the harvest field. This message takes a close look at the calling, ministry, message and impact of an apostle and Jesus' warning of the opposition and persecution that will be encountered.
