To update Sting’s current contractual status with WWE, F4WOnline.com is reporting he has yet to sign an actual wrestling deal with the company.

As of now, Sting has a merchandising contract in place with WWE, and also has the WWE 2k15 deal, but there remains no change in his in-ring WWE status.

Despite the above, WWE officials remain confident the two sides will work something out and Sting will compete at WrestleMania 31 next year.

Paglino: I know the value of Sting at WrestleMania 31 has dropped slightly now that The Undertaker’s streak has been broken, but I’d like to see him in a WWE ring just for the sake of seeing Sting in a WWE ring.

Sting not wrestling with WWE is akin to Shawn Michaels not wrestling with WCW, and it’s just one of those things I would like to see happen for the sheer spectacle of it all.

But who should Sting face in WWE? Sound off with your opinions in the comment section below!

After debuting in 1984, Knight wrestled on independent circuit before making an appearance on in the main event of the fourth episode of the World Wrestling Federation's flagship television show, Monday Night Raw, on February 1, 1993, where he lost to Lex Luger in Luger's WWF on-screen ring debut.[2] He made his final appearance on the April 26 episode of Raw in a losing effort to Mr. Hughes. After a brief stint in Big Japan Pro Wrestling in 1996, Knight returned to ECW on August 11, 1997, where he beat Chris Chetti via disqualification.[5] Soon after returning, Jason began feuding with The Blue Meanie over the next few months, but never managed to pick up a win over Meanie.

PWInsider.com is claiming that former two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray has finished up with the company. His contract expires soon – if it hasn’t already – and TNA was unwilling to give him the kind of deal he was hoping for. Insider’s report states that Bully told the locker room he wasn’t planning on signing a new deal with the company, and that his performance at a recent live event would be his last. If true, this is more bad news for TNA. I understand the contractual issues, as they desperately need to cut costs, and he’s probably at the top of the pay scale with Angle, but they will have lost Bully, Sting, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, Kazarian and a host of other really talented performers in the last year alone. He’s one of the last big names remaining, and in just a few months it’s likely Angle will be leaving as well. Not great news for TNA, who is still trying to find a home on TV past September.A possible match with Bray Wyatt, who caught Sting’s eye:I’d love to see that. I’d love to see Bray Wyatt coming up the way he is because he has the one thing I do believe that is missing. It’s the characters. Everybody is just so grey. Not everybody. I’m just saying wrestling in general in the last 10 years or so everybody got kind of grey. The personalities I grew up with like “Macho Man” Randy Savage was a reason I wanted to get into wrestling. Hulk Hogan and his personality, completely over-the-top. So I think this is really good. Wyatt is not completely over-the-top. Bray Wyatt has the ability to have a good mix of both. He has some realism along with his character.”plus a Summerslam recap &more Folow the Twitter @MrKingJordan Facebook.com/kingjordanradio
