King Josiah “did what was right in the eyes of Adonai and walked in all the ways of his father David, and turned not aside to the right or to the left.” He did this despite the fact that his father and grandfather were two of the most evil kings in the history of Jewish people. Josiah chose to walk a different path, one that rejected sin by focusing on following God's ways like his “father” David and God blessed him for it.
