King of Glory Lutheran Church is committed to Connecting to God and His People, Growing in Faith and Love and Living through Service and Sharing so that ALL may know the Love of Jesus.   As part of our continuing discipleship focus at King of Glory Lutheran Church, we continue our Growing Point studies and this is on the writings of John’s letters.  Dr. Claire Partlow leads our study as we continue looking at John’s letters, his close relationship with Jesus and his writing.  Today we focused on 1 John Chapter 2 and 3 and the theme is “how do we love one another.”

We offer this Bible study every Wednesday at 10:00 am and again at 6:15 pm in the Founders Hall except next week there will be no study, only a fellowship potluck dinner at 6:15 pm.

If you're not sure what a "church year" is, come find out what it is and why we follow one! And, if you know all about that high-church, liturgical, lectionary stuff, come and help us put these readings into the ongoing story of God that we celebrate. His Word is always for today! His plans are always for tomorrow! And, that's good news.  Our reading today included Psalm 111, 2 Chronicles 28:16-25, Isaiah 7: 1-17, Matthew 1:18-25 and Psalm 24.

We take a Christmas break on December 25 and January 1 and will return on January 8 and offer a Bible study every Sunday at 8:10 am and again at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.
