Today’s message was one of change.  Changes throughout history that have made significant changes in the way we do things but no change has had a greater impact on our lives than that of Jesus Christ dying on a cross to pay the price of our salvations for the sins that we have and will commit.  To help us keep our focus on our great change, wrist bands were given out to all attending Easter services with the intent that we would wear them for at least a month to remind us of how we have been changed because of what Jesus did for us on a cross.  He is Risen!

Pastor Harmon reminded us that Jesus had All-Power, All-Riches and the Greatest Army at His command, yet for the love of mankind, he instead chose a brutal and humiliating death in order to save us from our sins.

For Palm Sunday, Pastor Harmon gave us a plan for how we should prepare our hearts for this special week leading up to Easter Sunday.  His suggestion included getting rid of our dirty laundry; our cloaks stained with hate, lust, despair, pride, arrogance and all other sin stains that prevent us from following Jesus with a child-like faith and that we lay these stain cloaks before Jesus and shout Hosanna, Lord Save Us.
