Doki DokiIn episode 43, we discover Aguri is highly qualified to either join the drama club or the gymnastics team given how many hoops she can jump through to justify running away from home. But in the end Aguri realizes she loves her grandma and a bit more of her backstory is revealed. Then, in episode 44 we get Doki Doki's Christmas episode, and it may be the most women-loving-women vibes in all of Doki Doki. Rikka and Mana are married, and Mana and Regina love each other. You can tell the finale is on the horizon because Joe comes back, and he's looking slicker than ever

Doki Doki

In episode 41 of Doki Doki, Reina returns to once again antagonize Alice in the least subtle way possible. But then they form a beautiful friendship, in spaaaaace!! And it turns out they can be friends and Reina has only been acting out of jealousy! Then, in episode 42 we find out Aguri is adopted, and this is treated as a shocking twist. Also Makoto is an orphan, but that's treated as less of a shock. But once she tries the "phantom treat" that is birthday cake, and the day is saved.

Delicious Party

In episode 40 of Delicious Party, Black Pepper turns in his stone to his dad and is no longer a cook warrior. But then by the end of the episode, he transforms in front of Yui and saves the day! And makes Yui cry and annoys Amane. But then he gives her a rice ball and all is forgiven. Episode 41 doubles as both a Christmas episode (yay!) and a reveal of Fennel as Godatz (boo!). We're in the delicious end game now, Yui.

Delicious Party PreCureThis week we get a triple helping of Delicious Party! With Narcistoru's escape from prison, time travel hijinks, and Yui learning to improve upon her grandma's advice, there's a lot to chew on, but they were great for both character moments and mysteries that will be solved as the series comes to a close.

Doki Doki PreCure We talk about what may be the worst PreCure movie ever! The plot is alright, but they make us watch a dog die, twice! But also it's about Mana getting married, maybe, and her grandma who became a fairy upon her passing, wow!

Delicious Party PreCureWe first get an episode about Kokone potentially moving- which sparks an interesting question about whether a PreCure can leave the team and whether that team can handle themselves without their full fighting force, but luckily this question is largely avoided. Then we get Ran's dreams of being an influencer and finding her courage to keep trying even when she messes up. It's good fun for everyone.

Doki Doki PreCure Regina is back! And, thinking he has one last chance to best the PreCure, Bel tries to go undercover as Joe! It looks like the girls are about to claim the second sacred treasure- the Miracle Dragon Glaive, but it's actually Regina's love that's pure enough to draw the weapon?!? Oh no! Then in the next episode Makoto shines by writing a song about how much they love Regina and the girls unlock an angel wing power up! Incredible.

Doki DokiWe cover 4 episodes this week, 2 of which are about Makoto and Aguri facing their fears: the dentist and carrots, respectively. We also get an episode about what a dork Raquel is, and then finally, we get an episode with a... gangster Ai and a Super Grandpa?? What?!? And finger puppets are the key to Bel's evil schemes??

Discussion QuestionWe pitch a season in which the lead has a twin sister who works for the bad guys! And also discuss dark reflections in PreCure

Delicious Party Someone asked Delicious Party to tell them a story about baseball and we got a story about... loss, and our limited time in this world

Doki DokiThese episodes are all about parents! First we meet Alice's dad and get a baby Alice flashback origin story. Then, it turns out Rikka is a good mom, and Ai's crying can.... power up the Distains?!? Oh no!

Lead in DiscussionWe theoretically talk about PreCure crossed with Romantic Killer, but also we get distracted talking about Gundam in general

Star Twinkle Kat has finished her watch of Star Twinkle and she gives her thoughts.

Delicious PartyIn the first of the two episodes, a noodle recepipi has gone missing and the group must find it before the noodle festival is ruined! And also Mem mem can... use noodles to see the future? Um.... Alright. Moving on, the Halloween themed episode is about Amane's catholic guilt for the naughty thoughts she tries not to think.

Doki DokiThere's a lot happening across these four episodes- First the fairies are able to take on human forms and are overall adorable. Then, we get some lore and the girls have to fight... a DRAGON!?! In order to retrieve a powerful mirror artifact. Then they must contend with Gula and Leva's most evil plan yet. And finally, Ira is equipped with a power up ring and almost ruins the school festival, but Aguri has learned an important lesson about how great Mana is.

Lead in Discussion We ponder a PreCure season in which middle school girl and the PreCure are two separate identities, perhaps spanning across time

Doki DokiIt's time to learn about Aguri- specifically that she lives with her grandma, she can only transform into Cure Ace for 5 minutes at a time, that she has no friends at school and (in the Glitter Force version) she's not from Earth?!? Also Gula and Leva are now married and we wish them all the best.

Delicious PartyYui and a princess from a nearby nation decide to reenact Barbie's Princess and the Pauper. Yui is super adorable, Takumi is once again left out of the hijinx, and Cure Precious thwarts a kidnapping attempt?!?

Lead in Discussion We ponder a PreCure boarding School, optionally divided into houses, much like the Young Adult Series: Percy Jackson

Doki Doki Alice and RIkka get their turns on the growth wheel! Alice wonders how she can protect people and decides to do so by protecting people, but the episode is REALLY about Sebastian being incredible and having more sides to his personality. Rikka, on the other hand, cares for an amnesia stricken Ira and the two... start to form a romance, potentially?!? We were not expecting that.

Delicious Party It's festival time, baby! Mari takes on the central role as they compete with another couple to see who will produce the best fried noodles! Also Secretoru has space time powers... maybe?!? What's that all about?

Lead in Discussion We pitch a season themed around podcasts, how topical! Doki Doki Two new baddies roll up, and one gives us yikes vibes for the wrong reasons, but we don't sense any malice from the show runners. We also meet Ace's civillian form and ask ourselves, who is this? What does this child want? Why is she so RUDE? Then both Mana and Makoto discover what it means to love, and Ai Freaking Brain-parasites herself into Mana's Mom's Mind. Momma Mia!

Delicious Party Delicious party also rolls out a new character, an enby icon, and secretoru does a thing! Sadly, Narcistoru's buddy cop adventure with Mari seems to be but a forgotten dream.
