What movie-only character would we create for the Tropical Rouge movie?

We cover the Pretty Cure Dream Stars movie, featuring the Kira Kira, Maho Tsukai, and Go Princess girls! We found the jokes quite good, we're happy to see some of our favorite girls again, though the special outfits the teams received left us underwhelmed.

Futari Wa PreCure

We cover an episode that felt both like filler and one of the few that actually seemed to cover plot- but then it fell flat in the end. We also talk about how originally the PreCure season was planned to end with the first defeat of the Dark King

This week we play the Futari Wa game in reverse: Kat watched it and Joel has to guess the plot! It turns out it was an episode about dating, and despite featuring Nagisa, helps highlight how great Honoka is.

Kira Kira PreCure A La Mode

Having watched episodes 47-49, the main Kira Kira series is now done. Cure Pekorin is born, Cure Yell makes her first animated appearance, Elysio literally vores the Kira Pati girls, and his final boss design is perfect.

It's time to contemplate the future and being a grown up! Manatsu and Elda struggle to picture their futures, Manatsu's parents are delightful, and Buff Kururun is here!

Futari Wa PreCure

We play a fun game in which only Joel watched episode 34 of Futari Wa, and he pitches three possible synopses of the episode to Kat who has to guess which actually occurred in canon. The actual episode is about a relay race and Nagisa being hungry, if you can believe it.

Kira Kira PreCure A La Mode

Joel covers episodes 43-46, which includes a great deal of content. Akira's sister is literally kidnapped in the darkest moment in the series- perhaps all of PreCure, Yukari is leaving the country in search of new entertainment and also it's a Christmas episode and Elysio is definitely Noir's Nobody. Ichika must face their combined (Somebody) form and then everything goes to heck leading into the final 3 episodes of the season.

We agree that Aoi's episode is the best, and most impactful, though Himari is cute and the idea of the townspeople not trusting Rio is an interesting topic.

It's an honest-to-gosh character episode for Sango! Kat feels this might be a step back for Sango's character, and Joel once again feels the character plot and the episode plot don't exactly get along. But we still loved it and the Yareneda Mannequins were top tier.

Joel watched episodes 39 & 40, covering a zombie-fied Ichigozaka and Grave's final form. Plus, the birth of Cure Waffle! Plus, the cat and fairy alliance is plotually relevant?!?

This episode contains copious amounts of Laura at her most goblin-y and most kind, and features Asuka's backstory and relationship with Shiratori. We absolutely love it. And learned Shiratori's name. It was a great episode and we're thankful to be focusing on the other characters.

It's time to head to France and face a ghost child! Also, we get messed up animal forms for our entertainment! Being a panda is fine, actually. Plus, they destroy the Eiffel tower (briefly) and we debate whether Jean Pierre is extraordinary, or simply a big goof. ¿Por qué no los dos?

We have a great episode of Tropical Rouge this week- we have great humor, we have excellent cinematography, and we have the strong friendship between Laura and Manatsu highlighted. We're confused by the pink elephant in the room and, we're excited to have some plot with the legendary Palm Tree, or rather, the legendary PreCure! Also, what are those mysterious scratching sounds in the background? It's definitely not a puppy chewing on a bone, it probably has something to do with the butler's evil plot!

The third and final Dark Seed has appeared, and he summoned a robot!

Kira Kira PreCure A La Mode

We cover episodes 34 and 35, which we both amazing. In the first, Yukari is transformed into a cat! No context is needed, and that's the only takeaway you need from it. Then, we get Aoi and Himari being adorable and either good friends or shippable, depending on your viewpoint.

We hop in a time machine and go back in time to revisit the Sly Cooper games with special guest @SherpaWhale. We talk about how the games gets its claws into your brain, we talk about what makes them great, and most importantly- we press the circle button to enter the vault code. We divide the conversation into the original trilogy, Sly 4, and any ideas we'd love to see if a Sly 5 is ever produced. Also, which of Sly's ancestors is the hottest and why?

We get the second seed of evil and a bit of a heavier story, covering both the events of World War 2 and... the failing economy? But at least Honoka and Nagisa have some great facial expressions to make up for it.
