Solomon was the son of King David and the third King of Israel. The scriptures show us that after he became king, he made a bold request of God to fill him with wisdom. Adonai granted his request and made Solomon the wisest man who ever lived! Despite this, we see that Solomon’s legacy isn’t marked by exercising wisdom; instead it is known for his spiritual blindspots and failure to follow God’s commands. Having wisdom is important but apart from having a strong relationship to it’s Creator, being wise has no benefit to us at all. Like Solomon, we can fall into the trap of ordering our priorities around our blindspots instead of seeking after God. King Solomon is part three of the series Age Of Kings. #wecanbekings #ageofkings
