King Solomon's Passport

This episode presents the complete Charge delivered to every Master Mason upon being raised to the Third Degree — the highest and most sublime degree in Ancient Craft Masonry.

More than a ceremony, this Charge serves as a cornerstone of Masonic education. It invites every newly raised Brother to pause, reflect deeply on the significance of his advancement, and consider the elevated responsibilities that now rest upon him as a Master Mason.

Whether you have just been raised or have carried the square and compasses for many years, this recording offers a powerful opportunity for personal reflection. It reminds us that Freemasonry is progressive — with each step forward, our understanding deepens and our duties to the Craft and to one another grow.

Step into one of Freemasonry’s most solemn and symbolic public ceremonies: the ancient ritual for laying the Foundation Stone (Cornerstone) of a public building, church, courthouse, or Masonic edifice.

In this detailed audio presentation, experience the full traditional ceremony as practiced by Grand Lodges for centuries. Hear the precise order of the procession — from the Tiler with drawn sword through the Principal Architect carrying the Square, Level, and Plumb, to the Grand Master supported by his Deacons. Witness the formation of the hollow square beneath the triumphal arch, the invocation to the Great Architect of the Universe, and the profound moments of consecration.

Listen as the stone is tested with the working tools of Masonry:

• The Square proves rectitude and squareness
• The Level affirms equality and horizontals
• The Plumb ensures uprightness and perpendiculars

Then comes the sacred pouring of the elements of consecration — Corn (nourishment and plenty), Wine (refreshment and joy), and Oil (peace and brotherly love) — each accompanied by powerful symbolic explanations that tie the physical act to moral and spiritual truths.

The ceremony includes the solemn deposit of coins, medals, and an inscribed plate beneath the stone, the Grand Master’s declaration that the stone is “well-formed, true, and trusty,” and the closing benediction invoking protection and prosperity for the work ahead.

This is more than history — it is living Masonic ritual that reveals the timeless lessons of building not just structures, but character, harmony, and enduring legacy.

Whether you are preparing to participate in a cornerstone laying, studying the deeper symbolism of the Craft, or simply seeking to enrich your Masonic journey, this episode brings the full ceremony to life with clarity and reverence.

What makes Freemasonry Freemasonry? The answer lies in its Ancient Landmarks — the unchanging foundation stones that have defined the Craft for centuries.

In this powerful recording, you will hear a clear and dignified presentation of the Immutable Landmarks of Masonry. These essential principles are unchangeable. They preserve the form, essence, and integrity of our ancient institution.

Among the Landmarks explored in this episode:

• Belief in a Supreme Being and the immortality of the soul
• The Moral Law as the rule and guide of every Mason
• Respect for civil law and Masonic regulations
• Requirements for candidates: free-born, lawful age, and physically capable
• The modes of recognition and the rites of the three degrees
• The government of the Lodge by a Master and two Wardens
• The secret ballot and its inviolable nature
• The prerogatives of the Grand Master, including making Masons at sight
• The rights of the Craft in Grand Lodge
• And the solemn rule: No innovation can be made in the body of Masonry

These Landmarks are not suggestions — they are the ancient boundaries that protect the purity and perpetuity of Freemasonry.

Whether you are a newly raised Master Mason seeking to understand the foundation of your Craft, an officer preparing for lodge leadership, or a serious student of Masonic history and philosophy, this recording will deepen your appreciation and strengthen your commitment to our timeless traditions.
