We’re given a picture of a king being able to offer his life for the people’s salvation. Zedakiah doesn’t do it (Jesus does) & Jerusalem is captured while God cares for those loyal to Him amidst the destruction
God promises a restoration after the judgement & gives a clear picture for what a remnant people look like along with showing what happens to people who insist on going their own way
Jeremiah offers hope in the midst of judgement and God’s plan to bring peace, joy, & prosperity to those of His people willing humble themselves & live according to His ways
Jeremiah teaches of the coming Messiah & what kingdom life (the living reality of life with God) will look like along with preaching judgement against everything that would set itself up to represent God when really teaching to the flesh
God differentiates the way of blessing from the cursed life. I show the specific application of that time in ancient Judah to our day today
