One of the national leaders to take that mantle is Pastor Phillip Corbet, founding pastor of the First Assembly of God Church located in Corrigan, Texas. Pastor Phil was called by God at the ripe old age of twelve years old. TWELVE! Praise God! He was helping his pastor to tear down an old abandoned church. The pastor was going to use that lumber to form a new church being built in a neighboring town. It was through that experience that the Lord called him to build his own church.

He and his wife Rachel moved to Corrigan, Texas in 1985 to lay the groundwork for the church they were preparing to begin. They have continued to serve faithfully for over thirty-five years of service in this small community they love so well.

He has established a healthy church, effecting his small community of Corrigan, located in East Texas. His passion for the presence of God has thrust his church into seasons of extended revivals.

He believes the greatest churches are yet to be built.

He believes the most effective men of God are yet to be raised up.

He believes the most powerful ministries are yet to be birthed.

He believes there is a revival coming, that will be of global proportions.

How did you decide to start a church in Corrigan?

How was it in the beginning? Corrigan is not a large metropolis of an area…

Was there ever a time when you thought of “giving up?” Where you felt like you were banging your head on a wall? Getting burned out?

I heard you participated in the Brownsville Revival. Is that where you received your new direction?

How many times have you been to Brownsville?

Did you believe the manifestations that occurred on Brownsville could also occur in Corrigan, Texas?

How did your church receive these things when the Holy Spirit started to disrupt the “normal” services they were used to?

Did you experience any, let’s say, adverse reactions from the locals when all of these things started happening in your church?

Were you a “best kept secret” or did word start to spread outside of your local area like it did in Brownsville?

What about the other churches in the area? Did they support you or how did they react to all of this?

Did your church members feel slighted with all of the visitors? Like they were not being fed properly?

That is the fascination with space. With the study of the stars, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, etc.

Even back in ancient days, people were tracking the movement of the planets and star constellations. That is how the wise men discerned that a new king had been born among the Jews. They were watching the heavens and seen His sign.

The bible is full of scripture references about signs in the Heavens. From Genesis to Revelation. But, for the sake of time, I’m only going to quote one here today.

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. (Luke 21:25-26)

This is all devasting the economies of many nations, even here in the United States. The dollar is losing value almost on a daily basis.

She is also Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the “Beverly Hills Magazine,” and CEO of “Tigress Films, a television and film production company in Beverly Hills. She writes inspirational Christian and motivational Success Books based on biblical principles giving her readers a strong foundation upon which to build their lives.

She also provides a generous portion of all book proceeds to benefit the GOD Foundation, which allows her to impact even more people with the Gospel. How did you get started with the idea of the “Beverly Hills Magazine?”

You started this magazine with no money. How did you do that?
