Is freedom something the Christian is meant to experience in this life or only in eternity? 

As we continue in our study of Exodus we learn freedom isn’t about the authority to make your own choices. It’s choosing to be submitted to the highest authority.

We will never experience real freedom until we understand how to be fully submitted to the word, way, and will of Jesus.

In this message we look at the birth of Moses and the miraculous way he was brought into Pharaoh's house compared to how God used HIS Son Jesus to draw humanity out of sin and death and into eternal life and freedom.

There is no such thing as holiness without resistance.

Most people think that once they begin pursuing the things of God that it means He will pave the way and remove our obsticles. After all, God wants us to be Holy so why wouldn't he make holiness easy? 

As we begin our study through Exodus in the Year of Holiness, we learn that Holiness comes with opposition. 

The world, our own flesh, and even the spiritual forces of the enemy all conspire together to prevent us from walking in holiness. 

So what should we do? How can we overcome opposition in order to "be Holy as our Father in heaven is Holy"? 

As we unpack Exodus 1, God gives us hope even in the midst of opposition along with tools and strategies to overcome evil instead of being overcome by evil.
