Giving a hand

Abdul Deiz de Requena the teacher of Adan Mcneill who in turn was the teacher of Caden Mattix says that he has come looking for Caden to aid him in killing Leon Blackwood he has brought poisons, as he feels it's not needed to kill such a man with honor.

Caden says he will return, when he meets up with Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich who tells him of his fight, and that he had heard of Abdul Deiz de Requena but thought he was dead. Soverighn also is very upset that he hears that the Shadow Guard where ordered to magics in public, but in heading that Casimir Durand lost his personal unit of troops from the crusades gives him some slack.

Think Twice Act Once

As they are also meandering in to the city they see Louis Covinggard he tells them of the winds that the saffron troops can use to stop archery attacks, he was able to overcome it but to beware. Louis wants to make key units of the hero's of the lands, to strike deep in the Saffron lands, and gains support for this from Casimir Durand.

The group meets up at an inn with Conner Silverridge where he talks to Caden, about the conflict, and wanting to know what to do about Talion's not supporting his units physically. Conner brakes down the math and shows that his need for gold made him attack and destroy many. The lack of him following orders can be solved by being the person who confirms his kills. That power should be enough to rein him in.

Caden Mattix asks to talk to Conner, and gives him the War Beetle baby. Conner recommends going to the tested that can deal with magical animals. Nolla Holt He also brings up Abdul Deiz de Requena who Conner recommends using to train a unit of knights that will avenge their losses in the next generation.

Prison Break

They learn that many of the troops that were captured are being held by the saffrons not far away. They build up a unit of people to sneak in and rescue them. They are very successful, only killing 2 guards and sneaking away with everyone, including Count Crowelly.

A Nighttime Delivery

Lyla Tarasovich-Talmert, sneaks out at night, to a local Caren. Leaving the air stone for Sazed. While she is out she sees a member of the Kayna in the distance, who shoots an arrow and defends her.

She returns to the group as they awake, with her personal guards worried as they lost her.

A Plan for War?

A trumpet call for the return of an imperial army unit (oddly does not have the tone of the unit they are with?)

Leon Blackwood & Peacekeeper Sofiya Baranova comes in to town, going though Tallion Ramirez camp they see that he has 2 prisoners. Kittisak & Rin of Clan Startail

File:Rin of Clan Startail.jpg|thumb|Rin of Clan Startail. The group also passes by the Silverrage emcapment, and Casimir Durand decides he will try to meet with Endulaudaus. But he changes his mine when he realizes that even Endulaudaus is getting information, and breakfast.

Casimir Durand gets everyone together and gives what he feels is the breakdown for unit control for the next part of the war. While he is able to get out the information, a conversation moves the idea for a tactic that the pirates could join the saffrons and turns on them. Casimir Durand directly says that he does not trust the pirates enough for that.

The Prime Minister Speaks

Endulaudaus calls the leaders, and he gives the update with Leon Blackwood. It seems that elite Saffron troops attacked Leon Blackwood's unit killing everyone but him and the Peacekeeper Sofiya Baranova. Leon says that he has already interrogated the prisoners and that the Mikado are preparing to land in 90 days.

Casimir Durand brings it to light the idea that the crusade will break if mikado troops land in others domains. (This is not taken well even though everyone knows it)

The group then starts to go to the prison.

The Pirate Code!

Tallion Ramirez and his troops go and rush the prison while the meeting is going on, and free Rin of Clan Startail, for a boon in the future.

When the Silverridge group arrives at the prison, they see the guards killed but the saffron elite troop Kittisak is still locked up. While they are looking at him Carrick Silverridge sees he has a magical item on his back with his awakened eyes.

They learn that it's called the Blood of the Maw. When they extract it from him he bursts in to flame.

Timothy Whitestar enters a rage, tiring eventually.

Off Scene

They leave and return to Connor who it is discovered that he had stolen back the magic gem he had given Endulaudaus, Caden Mattix gives the Blood of the Maw to Conner who put it in the same box as they prepare to march out.

Events

Brothers from across the sea

Tallion Ramirez lands off the north river with 4 units of troops, after a days march he is captured by Douglas Sherman's troops and taken to Ashbourne. A Messager is sent to each of the armies, to have their representive come and decide on what they are going to do about the Ramirez troops, as they are a overt violation of the compact of not having troops cross over domains. The messenger gets to the Cadre, and they enter the town, seeing for the first time the Crimson Guard File:Crimson Guard.jpg|thumb|Crimson Guard, a unit of tested militants.

Entering the tower they see, Endulaudaus File:Endulaudaus.jpg|thumb, and Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich after some debate, Soverighn puts forth that they just take it to a vote. (knowing that if this takes too long to decide that Titus or his proxy may return.) The vote allows the troops to go in to House Silverridge units. The push for Tallion Ramirez's troops to be paid as mercenaries is off putting to many as they pass off that he has to talk to Connor about it.

Connor's Deal

After the group is taken before Connor (Who says he knows Tallion), he offers first access to the north river for trade, when the war is finished. And 10 gold for every unit that the pirates destroy more then 51% of.

Reviewing the troops

* The Falling Stars (Archers-Veterans)

After reviewing the troops, the group comes across Titus Covinggard being attacked by a group of townsfolk. The Hungry Wolves clear out the conflict, without killing them. Titus, does not respect Casimir Durand But is still thankful.

Minor Updates

* Casimir Durand is not allowed to do summery judgement vs allied troops, they need to have any military crimes given to their banner leader.

* Tallion Ramirez talks to his troops and they have issues with fighting the poor but are willing to back the House Silverridge claims, as of now. But they would like a pardon so those that are too old to return to sea have a place to retire to.

* Amund Henge and Caden Mattix start insulting a group of House Montmier knights, the groups separate before there is bloodshed.

Updates on the War (From Sov, and Endulaudaus)

* Silverridge

** The Dragons when aggressed by the Saffrons, they started attacking their own troops.

* Covinggard

** They are tricked by a group of merchants that came to resupply them, who poisoned the army and then struck. This hits them very hard.

* Imperial Army (Under General Sherman)

** Peacekeepers find a obelisk, while trying to take it down it starts striking them down, they have losses but not catastrophic ones. 

** During an ambush, a group of calvery try to race down a unit of troops, to be struck from below by beetle units. Massive losses.

Events

On the way to Orley, there is conflict in the streets where Shivon is protected by her new guard. Slurs and trash are thrown at her. She is taken to the fort and protected, while the rest of the group goes to military encampment.

At the military encampment, Casimir is ordered to take the Silverridge troops to route Saffron Troops. Overall it was a solid victory, with only the The Black Band disbanding having grown disillusioned by the nature of fighting the poor common man.

Events

Archers for Breakfast

Penelope Durand had a breakfast with Lyla Tarasovich-Talmert where they talked about the conflicts with their family. They make a solid connection and then have a bit of a time with archery.

Visions

Carrick Silverridge has a vision.

''He is walking down a dirt road with city's people getting ready, on one side of the street the people are rats, and the other side they are pigeons. The rats start taking out a effigy of a person with red hair they have hung. He tries to stop it, and realizes he is in the body of a peacekeeper. Who is overwhelmed by the rats.''

Breakfast with the Southern Beauty

Carrick Silverridge dreses as a page and goes to send a message to the the Songprawati, on the way there he sees his father trying to learn how to ride a dragon, but he keeps going on his mission he invites Myo Songprawati to breakfast and talks to her on the way.

She thinks the vision has to do with Shivon Silverridge's rise in Whitestar how the people feel her becoming Dutchess. They decide they are going to talk to some Whitestar people before they arrive. Theobold Byrd is one of the leading nobles of Orley who will give them information.

Carrick Silverridge also talks to people about joining the Odd Fellow's but it ends with him having to learn more about them.

The Death of a Shadow

On the way to talk to Timothy Whitestar they see a group of guards investigating something. They go to the College of the Bards, and see that Clemente Avara is killed. He is hung and his hands have been melted to the bones. The Sun Whips are the people who are running the investigation. The players realize that this location is a set up.

Talk to Whitestar

When the group gets to Timothy Whitestar they are also given a concept that Archbaron Tristin Whitestar as he is losing being the heir might be also aggressive to Shivon Silverridge. They then get a letter for their entry in to Whitestar, and then hit the road to go to Orly.

While there they meet up with Kirill Orlov the peacekeeper from Carricks dream.

The Border

The party meets up with Theobold Byrd and are told the conflicts in Whitestar with the rise of Shivon and why some people accept it and others do not.

Events

Visions

Carrick sees 3 islands, representing the 3 armies. He looks at "conners" island, and he sees that one part of conners troops will fail, and that if they are not reenforced they will bring down the rest of the army. Carrick tells Conner and they try to think of ways to overcome the vision of failure. There is a push to break up the Henge Calvary to be messengers but no final decision is made. The talk of changing military strategy, based on visions creates conflict with the Gold Blades units. They are eventually talked down.

The Odd Fellows

As a few days ago there was another vision based on the odd fellows, they decide to go and investigate them deeper. They learn that they are primarily a noble and merchant class group that investigates lost lore and power.

They go to the Odd Fellows, take the masks of Petitioners and enter they ask a member Awen Penhale

* Some players note that her name is the name of one of the reborn near windbreak!*

1. They don't openly support the Saffrons, but they do pay them for information that they feel might be lost as they are destroyed by the crusader armies.

3. They return the book they took, and conversations moves to Kanya magics, and she confirms many of the other information they have gathered, but there is also a way that guild masters have a way to take the energy away without adoption.
4. About Mikado curses, that the easiest ways to remove their curses is by a blessing from a Mikado, but also bellringer leadership have the power to remove the curses as well.
5. There is conversations about Carrick joining the Odd Fellows, and he takes a coin representing that he has been vetted but he would have to come later when he has made a final choice.

They then leave as Carrick reads a book about the powers used by the tested to go to other planets.

While they are waiting, They meet Eanulf of Dorhaven who is sheriff of Dorhaven, he is here with this father because they are sending a letter to his daughter who is a Saffron General.

They also hear, Sir Mathias Ackeret asking for the identifying of Great Sword of Götz they are told that it is a old sword of royalty by the House of Stone.

Events

The Ambush

As the characters attempt to negotiate, Carrick enters a fit, conversation breaks down and a fight ensues. Carrick and Shivon are shot and are bleeding as the group fights back. They eventually overcome the attackers and take their leader as a prisoner.

Noteworthy events

* Carricks hair burst in to fire and made the saffron troops glow?

* A huge war beetle came from the ground and while it was killed it had some mysterious glowing blood

* a few people heard the bells but did not tell the others.

Medical Attention

They spend a day making sure their wounds are all healed before starting to question their prisoner.

How to ask a question?

Casimir tries to torturer answers out of the man, who hands they have already cut off. But finds little success. Caden takes the group aside and tells those who had not experinced what they had heard of other saffron people.

* They feel that they will change the views of the country, even if they lose this war.

* They felt the death of the PC's that the war's armies would have broken up.

* He came from Hexham where his family was abused by the bellringers.

When Timmothy and Conner come in,

* They learn that there is a fault in Wargem's walls that the Saffrons where going to destroy.

* At handfasted there is a storehouse of weapons.

* At Ganymene there are spies in General Sermamans court that is given military secrets to the safforns.

Events

Visions of the Bellringer

Carrick has a vision where he walks thought he mist and sees 3 figures he walks to the right, and sees a man with a large bell weapon. He tells him that he will help him see his destiny (and Carrick gets rerolls for the next 2 visions)

He then goes towards the middle figure, and he sees a saffron society priest that is almost a corpse and Carrick wakes up.

Carricks right eye now glows in the darkness and he can not see out of that eye.

Insults for breakfast

Soverighn & Lyla start talking to people but they are "Insulted" by Casimir, as he wants to find a "true priest" to talk about Carrick's vision. Soverighn Lyla storm out.

Looking for Knowledge

Most of the party goes out to find a tested but finds a Bellringer Priest first. He says the vision is that of the military side of the Bellinger, and it is a good omen that Carrick will do good in the upcoming war.

As they are leaving Sysid tries to get the rock back again, empowering his magics by destroying a belltower, he again is thwarted. Casimir finds Louis Covenguard, and asks him to arrest him, and Louis tells him that vandalism is not in his preview.

Insults for lunch

As the party reunites Lyla tells the group about the meeting with Samson Krieg, as everyone returns it turns in to an argument, wher Casimir will not relent and support what he sees as open treachery. As the conflict gets worse Connor and Rory comes in, and calms the group down by pushing Casimir, to understand that he needs to support the family.

The Meeting

As the armies march, and the group goes to the meeting, they come to a grove in the fog that reminds Carrick of his vision.

Events

With Caden Mattix wounded from the roadhouse, they ask Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich for help finding a doctor. He sends Carlos Falks

Thinking that they may need him in the future, they decide to go have a meeting with Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich to acquire him.

Talk with Whitestar

Shivon Silverridge goes to talk to Timothy Whitestar, Shivon is taken first for measurements for clothing for when she is Dutchess.

Timothy Whitestar & Shivon Silverridge talk about the issue of the Saffron Society in Whitestar and he feels that it is the support of a "middle class" that has allowed the Saffron Society to grow in his domain. While Shivon thinks that it is a play of the Rivers, Timothy feels that it is more likley a House Covinggard play. He also feels that the push of the Saffron Society because of Silverridge nearly martial law in their domain. He also talks about his education and how he was not part of Connor Silverridge's social group, that his social group was Titus Covinggard & Charles Montmier.

River Lunch

With a river lunch with Lyla Silverridge, Casimir Ramirez, Penelope Durand & Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich. Soverighn and Casimir bury the hatchet and connect in their desire to help their family. Soverighn talks about the lung disease that happens in House Tarasovich and that is why they have Carlos Falks but he is willing to give him up for the time of the war to make sure that people are safe after the attacks. Soverighn also asks Casimir if he wants to know more about the Pells faith and he says no thank you.

Lyla Silverridge, stays back to ask Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich if there is anything she can help with. He says that he was asked to meet with Samson Kreig leader of the Saffron Society about parlaying about non combatants. Soverighn Ides Lev Tarasovich does not know if it's a trap or if it real. Lyla says that she will bring the party to the event to make sure they are safe.

The Dream of other worlds

Carrick Silverridge has a vision.

A grapefull of Knowledge

They meet up with Juan Diego as they ask him about the portal, he says instead that one can imagine the amount of magic it would take to travel to other worlds, the energy of all one's possible children might be the energy to power that.

The group then realises that the tested have traveled to other parts of Oh.

Military Talk

There was some talk on who would do what in what part of the war, and Carrick Silverridge stands his ground and will be fighting on the field.
