Is the World Your Place of Rest?

Intro
People who live outside God's word
and flee the suffering of trial,
they're all just drifting
through the world,
like autumn leaves, blown in the wind.

They flutter here, they flutter there.
They never have a place to rest,
much less God's words of consolation.
They're only beggars in the streets,
outside the kingdom of heaven.
They're wandering from place to place,
though God's chastisement and refinement
don't ever follow them.

Zieh dein Herz von äußeren Dingen zurück,
sei still vor Gott, bete zu Gott mit ungeteiltem Herzen.
Ist dein Herz ruhig vor Gott,

über Gottes Liebe und Sein Werk nach.
Nimm dich zuerst des Betens an.

Only when your relationship
with God is normal,
will you be able to
attain perfection from God,
and then will God's
discipline and refinement
and pruning in you
achieve the effect desired.
You're able to have a place
for God in your heart,
not seek your own benefits
and think about the future.
But you bear the burden
of entering life,
submit to God's work
and pursue God's truth.
This way, the aims you seek aren't wrong,
and you have a normal
relationship with God.
The first step to entry
into one's spiritual journey
is fixing their relationship with God.
Although man's destiny
is in God's hands,
ordained and can't
be changed by themselves,
whether you can be made perfect
or you can be gained by God
depends on whether or not
you have a normal relationship with God.

Now man knows a bit of
God's dispositions,
of what God has and is,
of the works that He does.
Yet most of their understandings are
nothing more than words on a page,
theories in mind.
God doesn't want anyone to feel
abandoned or left out in the cold.
He wants to see a firm heart
to follow the road
of knowing God and seeking truth.

What people lack is a true knowledge
and a view that
come from real experience.
God tries various ways
to awaken man's heart,
but there's still a long road
before it's revived.

No matter what wrongs
you have done,

God in flesh is judged,
condemned, sneered at.
By the devils He is pursued.
He is spurned by the religious world.
No one can make up for His hurt.

Mankind's ferocious resistance,
his slanders, hunting and false blames
