What if the question is not whether you like the hand you were dealt—but whether you will faithfully play it for the Kingdom of God?

In Acts 22:22–29, Paul finds himself in a dangerous situation, but instead of wasting what God has placed in his hand, he recognizes the moment and uses his Roman citizenship wisely. His circumstances were not random, and neither are ours. God’s providence determines the hand we receive, but God’s Kingdom determines how we play it.

In today’s message, we are challenged to stop comparing our lives to everyone else’s, to learn the people God has placed around us, and to recognize when it is time to use the opportunities, resources, relationships, and advantages He has given us.

The Christian life is a lot like playing spades. You may not choose the cards in your hand, but you are still responsible for how you play them. And the good news is this: the Lord knows the whole deck.

So stop wishing for someone else’s hand. Steward the one God gave you. Learn your partners. Know when to play your cards. And make sure you are not spending your life playing the wrong game.

What changes when Jesus truly becomes Lord of your life?

Don’t delay what Jesus has made clear. Don’t force doors He has closed. Go wherever He sends you. Give ’em Heaven.

What if the most powerful part of your testimony isn’t what you came out of—but Who met you there?

In Acts 21:37–40 and Acts 22:1–11, Paul stands before a hostile crowd and does something remarkable. He doesn’t try to win an argument. He builds a bridge, tells the truth about his past, and points everything back to Jesus.

In today’s message, Pastor Alex Sands challenges us to remember that we are not called to simply prove people wrong—we are called to bear witness. Our story should never make much of our past, our pain, or even our transformation. It should make much of the grace of God.

Paul’s testimony reminds us that saving faith does more than receive Jesus as Savior—it bows to Him as Lord. And sometimes the first work of grace is God showing us just how wrong we have been.

You may not see the entire road ahead. Paul didn’t either. Faith does not require full visibility. It requires trust in the One giving the instruction.

“What shall I do, Lord?”

Because the most important part of your story is not where you’ve been.

It’s Jesus—Who has been at the center of it all.

What do you do when people misunderstand you, accuse you, and even attack you based on something that is not true?

In Acts 21:27–36, Paul is falsely accused, seized by an angry crowd, beaten, arrested, and bound in chains. From the outside, it looks like everything is falling apart. But beneath the chaos, God is still in control.

In this message, Pastor Alex Sands challenges us to see the danger of treating assumptions like facts, allowing prejudice to feel like discernment, and letting our ego take over when we are falsely accused.
