In **“Raising the Roof,”** Minister Angele Johnson explores the faith, determination, and compassion of the four men who refused to let any obstacle keep their paralyzed companion from reaching Jesus.

Drawing from **Mark 2:1–12, Galatians 6:2, and Ecclesiastes 4:9–12**, Minister Johnson teaches that bearing another person’s burden often requires sacrifice, inconvenience, courage, and cooperation. The men in this familiar account did more than bring their friend near Jesus—they worked together, overcame the crowd, opened the roof, and stayed committed until he was placed directly before Christ.
