In participating in the Lord’s Supper, we are acknowledging his birth, life, death, resurrection, and his return. We are confessing our need for Him. We are saying we belong to Him and to each other. That his death was for us. We are recognizing the other members of the Body of Christ. There’s something powerful that takes place every time we participate in the communion of the Lord.
