“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched the line upon it?”

Some time ago, I shared about the blessing of trusting God, then last week was when God says to let go, so this is “Where were You?”

‭‭Based out of Job 38…

So in a recent situation, I found myself questioning a particular directive God had given and transparently, I questioned whether God’s directive would be good for me or not. Obviously it was good because it’s God but because I did that.. God led me to Job..

Who faced similar but all be it definitely more extenuating circumstances but asked so many questions that it seemed like He had placed God on trial..

But the basis of this question wasn’t centered around Job.. it was about God?

So God asked me.. where were you? Let’s talk about it

It’s weird when you finally get what you’ve been waiting for and God says to let it go. How do you think Abraham felt when God told him to do that exact same thing?

Sometimes it’s hard to trust God in different seasons, especially with a million and one questions on your mind. Let’s talk about it. Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.”

Prudent - careful, wise, cautious: acting of showing care and thought for the future. Someone who has vision afar off.

Vision - the ability to see afar off

Have you ever asked a church person how they’re doing and their response has been “blessed and highly favored”?

It’s a good thing to say but do we understand what that means. Let’s explore that.
