What happens when you feel uncertain about a particular area in your life? Does fear, doubt and anxiety creep in? How do you combat it?

By turning to scripture... 

Hey podcast fam, so this week was pretty rough for me, because the same message I am sharing today put me through the wringer (I'm actually still in the wringer, lol.. but God is faithful). But I was having a really hard time this week and God led me back to this podcast episode that I recorded a few months ago. I sat down, listened to the episode and found comfort in the scriptures that were shared. So I decided to come and share it (again) with you guys, because I am hoping that it would be encouraging for you as well. 

Uncertainty is an inevitable feeling, or state.... we face uncertainty everyday, however, it is the fear of the unknown that the enemy takes advantage, trying to cause fear, anxiety and depression. Therefore, we have to cling to God's word and trust that even though we may have no clue of what our next step would look like but God has it all mapped out. 

The idea of looking back or going back isn't really something we like to do think about. But what if God says to go back? 

In today's episode, we explore some cases where God told his servants to go back and with GOOD reason. Is there something the Lord is urging you to re-visit?

Hey podcast fam. 

Today, I felt led to share a little of my testimony so listen in and feel free to ask any questions (in the Q&A/Comment section). I was in a season in my life, facing eviction and with no place to live and praying for a breakthrough. Something temporary had opened up but I wanted a space to call my own, and honestly, I thought that God had forgotten about me.... but I kept pushing... and later on God answered. 

During my meditation this week, God has reminded me of the power of persistent, consistent and specific prayers. There are times in our lives where we find ourselves praying for a change or a breakthrough, whether it be in our families, jobs, financially or whatever else, but this breakthrough cant seem to come fast enough or it feels like God just isn't listening.. but DONT GIVE UP! 

because you are at the very edge of  what you are praying for. Stay the course, keep praying and don't give up. God isn't done yet!

It's easy to get so caught up in life with the things that are necessary but not really needful... That was me this week. And of course, the Holy Spirit course corrected me. 

Today, we dive into Luke 10:38-42, where Jesus visits a pair of sisters- one who takes the opportunity to simply sit at his feet and the other who is concerned with being a good host. If you read the text, you see that Martha receives a rebuke from Jesus that makes her see that all the things that she is doing maybe not entirely 'needful'. Let's dive in. 

Questions to consider: 

1. What are some things that you think are needful but really aren't? 

2. How can you prioritize your time to do the most 'needful' things, i.e. prayer, spending time with God & His word?

Hey yall! Welcome to today's podcast. 

Today we are talking about battling against the spirit of oppression and I share a personal experience of how I didn't realize it but God gave me insight in hindsight. Sometimes, things are hard and honestly, we just feel like giving up. Other times, the enemy send out attacks of oppression and depression on our lives to cause us to not achieve our purpose in God.

Manna- what is it? 

Remember when the Israelites came out of the wilderness and God fed them manna? Do you remember the specific commandment God gave when he sent the manna? It was to take just enough for that day and nothing more.

Many times, we don't understand the depth and or weight of the vision that God gives us as Christians/Believers and His children. But that's why we have to seek Him, we have to understand that whatever God gives us, is way(x10) beyond us and our generation, but for generations to come. On the other hand, those of us who do some understanding undermine that we can even be used in the capacity that God is revealing to us. We literally tell God (who created us) that we aren't capable enough, smart enough, or 'holy' enough when God just wants us to come exactly as we are and allow Him to do the rest. He just wants a willing vessel. 

So let's dive in!
