Today I just want to pick a particular topic, which I call the spirit of the age, or I may change the title slightly along the line, the spirit of the age. The message warns that this spirit seeks to corrupt the seed of God through entertainment, wealth, and desire, but Christians must be controlled by the Holy Spirit. It urges reading, information, and disciplined living to resist deception, and calls believers to follow Christ to the end.

"The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwelling places of Jacob." This message calls us to love what God loves, invest in the kingdom, and listen with focus so the Spirit may speak. It shows that knowing God’s character—what pleases Him and what He hates—shapes how we live, give, and align our choices with His will.

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him. The message teaches that God’s righteousness disciplines in love, grants grace, and invites us to weigh life choices by eternal, unseen values rather than worldly gain, trusting His timing and preparing our hearts to follow Him.

The Lord is good. God can be understood, and He has emotions—He loves what is good and hates what is wrong. This teaching invites us to learn His character from Scripture, embrace a regular, Spirit-led pattern, and practice humility, repentance, and unity in worship and daily living.

Anything you want is supposed to be an answer to prayer. Pastor Bankie teaches that learning, obeying, asking, and receiving guide the Christian life, and that guarding your land means praying for Jerusalem, the gathering of God’s people. Prayer unlocks God’s purposes, and He invites us to ask, that we may know He is the Lord.

Prayer is not hard. The message invites simple, faith-filled requests—asking clearly, believing you receive (Mark 11:24)—and trusting God’s will. It warns against double-mindedness, encourages sharing testimonies to strengthen others, and reminds that God answers through wisdom, healing, or providence, often in unexpected, practical forms.

Faith is the way by which I relinquish my natural life so that I can take up the spiritual life that is mine in Christ Jesus. Waiting on God is patient, active development, trusting His timing; He uses delays to form us. Do not manipulate God with offerings; He moves by His plan.

The fact that God is faithful. He keeps his promises and will not forget those who wait on Him. In Isaiah 49, He comforts His people, inscribes them on the palms of His hands, and declares that those who hope in Him will not be put to shame. Trust His timing; endure with faith.

Faith to enforce God's will over your land. The message urges believers to pray with faith, not as a mere habit, and to build a life and nation on the foundation of God's word. It warns against undermining faith by wrong teaching about leaders, and calls for seeking peace and welfare for Jerusalem—our land—through prayer and righteous living.
