The thing I have in mind, the aim, I mean the thing that's in my spirit, is just to remind Christians that we enlisted in an army when we gave our lives to Christ. The Word is entering my heart. It is giving me light and direction, healing me in every area. Pastor Bankie urges faithful saving-son living, warns against prodigal drift, and calls believers to fear the Lord, avoid quick money schemes, and join the army of God by covenant faithfulness and daily surrender.

Men ought always to pray and not to get tired. Faith under trial is the real battle: persevere in prayer, confess what is true, and trust God's faithfulness, even when deliverance seems delayed. Scripture guides you through trials; open doors await.

First, life is by faith. This teaching beckons us to endure trials with steadfast trust in God, not worldly comfort. It portrays Satan's warfare against faith and outlines three levels of belief, culminating in a faith that remains even if God does not deliver. The message invites keeping God's Word and eternity in view.

Soldiers of the Cross. Being a Christian is enlisting in an army, and the journey requires discipline, sacrifice, and steadfast obedience to the Lord. Mark chapter 8, we'll read about five verses, the book of Mark chapter 8 from verse 34. This message teaches that true discipleship requires denying oneself and taking up the cross to follow Jesus, valuing God's kingdom over personal gain, and not fearing loss when pursuing righteousness.

Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. The message urges embracing Christ as the fullness of God's promises and living by his precepts, not by miracles alone. Enter the land of promises through obedience, pursue the kingdom, and cultivate the heart of faith.

Life is spiritually controlled. The message emphasizes that victory comes not by human strength but by faith-filled action—holding up prayer, enabling the Spirit's order, and not yielding to worldly commentary. By reading and speaking the Word, we release angels to act, claim God's time of favor, and trust Him in scarcity and prosperity alike.

The Lord is good. The message centers on the truth that there is no other God besides Him, and that He is righteous and the Savior. Turn to the Lord for salvation; repentance is urged, for only in the Lord are righteousness and strength.

Now let me talk about wisdom being very personal. The teaching shows that God's wisdom provides boundaries to guard our lives and destiny, restraining us from sin and from chasing conspiracies. It urges obedience to His precepts—promises, precepts, commandments, testimonies, ordinances—as the path to life and safety.
