2 Chronicles 7&8, 1 Timothy 2

Sometimes you have to wrestle with passages in the Bible to grow in maturity. 1 Timothy 2 is one that stumbles a lot of people.

2 Chronicles 7 God speaks to Solomon. When God speaks you have to pay attention.

2 Chronicles 5&6, 1 Timothy 1

Paul is sending a letter to Timothy who is struggling with the church of Epesus. He reminds him that the law or faith or salvation is for sinners and rebels.

2 Chronicles 5&6 King Solomon invites Gods presence into the temple and prays over the people.

2 Chronicles 3-4 & 2 Thessalonians 3

2 Chronicles 3 & 4 describe how Solomon built the temple in detail. Jesus represents the temple and we the people are the church.

In 2 Thessalonians Paul gives his final encouragement to be on guard of the people you surround yourself with and to always follow the teachings.

2 Chronicles 1-2, 2 Thessalonians 2

Paul is not holding back any truth in 2 Thessalonians. But be encouraged because Jesus wins!!

In 2 chronicles 1 Solomon asks God for wisdom to lead the people well.

God sees his heart and blesses him with wisdom and riches.

1 Chronicles 28-29, 2 Thessalonians 1

Paul is writing a second letter to the Thessalonians. It is a shorter letter like an afterthought or reinforcement of his encouragement.

1 Chronicles 20-21, 1 Thessalonians 2

In chapter 21 of 1 Chronicles king David committed a sin by taking a censuses of the fighting men. The idea of taking a census is not wrong but God looks at the heart of why and how people do things.

1 Thessalonians 2 is Paul encouraging and connecting with the people.
