God gives Moses the 10 Commandments. Chapter 32 is the painful chapter of the the Israelites worshiping a golden calf and God gets very angry.

Psalms 41 David prays for protection.

Mark 13 Jesus gives a deep talk about the end times.

Exodus 29-30, Psalms 40, Mark 12

Exodus 29 is a gruesome description of a sacrifice but sin is even more gruesome and this detailed description is to illustrate that all sin has consequences.

David is in a happy mood in Psalms 40.

In Mark 12 Jesus tells the greatest commandment and a warning against teachers of the law.

Exodus 27-28, Psalms 39, Mark 11

Exodus 27-28 God appoints priests and teaches them how to enter his courts.

Psalms 39 David is feeling distant from God and talks to to God about his struggles with temptations.

Exodus 25-26, Psalms 38, Mark 10

In Psalms 38 David is anguished for something he did wrong and he is feeling the weight and pain in his physical body.

In Mark 10 Jesus talks about divorce, heals a blind man and tells the disciples the third time that he is going to be killed.

Exodus 23-24, Psalms 37, Mark 9

God is teaching the Israelites a new way to live and how to deal with conflict. He also talks about honoring the events for generations to come so no-one forgets what God did.

Psalms is David’s prayer for God to intervene when things are difficult and there are evil people.

Mark 9 Jesus tells his disciples for the second time that that he will be killed and raised on third day.

Exodus 21-22, Psalms 36, Mark 8

God is laying the ground work for a new civilization of people that live my Godly principles.

Psalms 36 David shares a journal entry or a prophetic word.

Mark 8 Jesus teaches in parables. Key verse Mark8:18 “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels”.

If you don’t think being a Jesus follower is cool YET find a cool church and get excited to never be ashamed to declare the name of Jesus.

Exodus 19-20, Psalms 35, Mark 7

God gives Moses the 10 Commandments. Psalms 35 David asks God to intervene on his behalf agains his enemies.

Mark 7 Jesus teaches about being not letting your heart be defiled.

Exodus 17-018, Psalms 34, Mark 6

The Israelites are still traveling through the dessert and getting irritated with Moses because they are thirsty. Moses cries out to God for help with the grumbling people. God tells Moses to strike the stone and water pours out of it.

Psalms 34 is a Psalms of prayer to help you feel confident.

Mark 6 Jesus is not welcomed in his own home, he feeds 5000 and he walks on water.

Exodus 15-16, Psalms 33, Mark 5

The Israelites are traveling in the dessert. The Israelites have old Egyptian cultural beliefs therefore God has to teach them as they go new Godly principles through experiences.

Psalms 33 is a song of David.

Mark 5 Jesus sends a legion of demons into 2000 pigs and heals a woman.
