Jeremiah 28,29&30

The famous verse Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord.

Chapter 28 God despises false prophets.

Chapter 29 is a letter from Jeremiah to the people in exile.

Chapter 30 God explains that He will restore them after 70 years.

Jeremiah 25,26&27

Jeremiah gives clear prophetic word is what is to come and the people do like it. They want to kill Jeremiah. Jeremiah says do what you will but you will be killing innocent blood.

They decide if their is any truth in his word they don’t want the guilt.

Jeremiah 22,23&24

God is so clear in speaking His prophetic word spoken through Jeremiah.

Chapter 22 God talks about what will happen to the king of Judah.

Chapter 23 God makes it clear how

He hates lying false prophets.

Chapter 24 God uses 2 baskets of figs to illustrate a lesson.

Jeremiah 19,20&21

Things are about to get crazy.

Jeremiah gets beaten for his doom and gloom prophecy.

King Zedekiah finally reaches out to Jeremiah for Gods word but too late.

Jeremiah 16,17&18

God goes into detail of the destruction that will happen to the Israelites.

Of course He gives them hope just in case they want to repent.

In chapter 18 Jeremiah gets word that the people plot to kill him.

Jeremiah 13,14&15

God says in chapter 15 verse 19 that if people repent He will restore them. Remember those words when you read the details of the consequences and destruction that they will have to endure.

Jeremiah 10,11&12

God is having a heart to heart conversation with Jeremiah. I love these 3 chapters because God is speaking so clearly. And if you wonder if the message is for you read chapter 10 and assess if you have any idols in your life.

Of course God always weaves hope throughout.
