Joshua Generation, part 8. War is part of the fallen human condition, and will always be amongst us. But we have One who has come to bring peace. Jesus is the hope of the nations.

Joshua Generation, part 7. The amount of information and distraction in modern life is greater than any other time in history, and it can be almost overwhelming. There’s also a battle for the mind and a battle against the flesh, and in this we must not set aside our advantage: knowing God.

Joshua Generation, part 6. Chapters 7 and 8 are tough and have to be walked through carefully. Through them we see the mercy and grace of God to those that are willing to repent. But we also see the holiness and sovereignty of God over those who don’t.

Joshua Generation, part 5. Jericho was a mighty obstacle standing in the way of God’s people as they entered the Promised Land. But by faithfully following the Lord’s commands, God fights the battle on Joshua’s behalf, and Jericho is taken.

Joshua Generation, part 4. When God's people crossed the Jordan River it marked both the exit from the wilderness and the entrance into the promises of God. Christianity is the same. Salvation and forgiveness marks the way into God's Kingdom, but it's only the way to a far greater end.
