The Table, part 2: Communion is like three things: finding a winning lottery ticket, a cathedral and a kiln.

The Table, part 1: Because Jesus provides, we get to feast. Because Jesus works, we get to rest. And because Jesus dies, we get to live.

Our lives have been disrupted. The answers cannot be found inside of us. Instead, we have to look up, and also look around. We need to reconnect with God and each other.

Incomparable, part 9. Jesus came to bridge the gap between God and us, to restore what was once a perfect relationship, but was broken by sin and rebellion.

Incomparable, part 8. Looking at Exodus 17 where God's people are attacked. They are called to remember all the past victories God has won, and realise that only He can deliver them.

Incomparable, part 7. Looking at one of the only places in Scripture where God's compassion is compared to that of a nursing mother.

Incomparable, part 6. In John 14 Jesus tells us that he has not left us alone in this world, but God has sent the Holy Spirit to be with us, and in us, continually.

Incomparable, part 5. Just like a small child drawing a picture, we have such a limited ability to understand and explain how amazing Jesus is, because we are human. We just get these glimpses of the one who's 'face was like the sun in full strength'.

Incomparable, part 4. Peace is not the absence of trouble. It is the presence of God, even in the most troubled situation.

Incomparable, part 3. Looking at 1 John 4: God reveals his love through his identity, incarnation and initiation of relationship with us.
