Have you ever been caught out by a tricky question about your faith, to which you have no answer? Jesus finds himself on the sharp end of such questions but reflects them back, putting his questioners under the spotlight. But other than winning an argument back then, how do his answers help us to live well today and in the future??

Have you ever felt upset by friends or family neglecting a special occasion? Forgetting an anniversary or not turning up to a party can send the message that 'You are not important to me.' Jesus throws that idea back at us, giving a valuable if uncomfortable insight into how we treat God.
