Pastor Chris is back to continue our series in Revelation. This week, he begins a portion of Revelation called the "letters to the seven churches," where Jesus directly addresses seven different churches. We look at Revelation 2:1–7 on a church that has many commendable attributes but have fallen from their "first love."

Pastor Chris revisits parts of the previous week's passage which is foundational to our understanding of Christ's victory (and ours) in the book of Revelation. A Jesus who is truly worth worshiping is one who is truly Lord and Savior—one who both confronts us and comforts us.

In this passage, Jesus appears in a vision to the apostle John. In this vision, Christ is unveiled as our present priest, an unshakeable king, and the fearsome judge who will one day right every wrong done to His creation and His people.

Pastor Chris continues our teaching series by looking at the foundation and center of the entire book. The foundation is the Triune God of the Scriptures and the center is the good news of Jesus Christ, His victory, and the victory of His church.

Pastor Chris launches our new teaching series into the last book of the canon of Scripture: Revelation. To begin our journey through this mysterious and often misunderstood book, we establish what the book is about and how it should and should not be read. Understood rightly, the book offers a practical hope in the already won victory of Christ and His church.
