The Kingdom of God is advancing through word and power, and we are sent on the offensive.

II. Deacons are servant-leaders recognized as those who serve willingly and facilitate ministry as leaders of teams.

Main Idea: Being patient is God's strength training program; the more we endure the weight of suffering, the stronger we become.

I. Be patient for the sake of future expectation (5:7-8)

II. Be patient for the sake of present relationships (5:9)

III. Be patient for the sake of past examples (5:10-11)
