Kings played their first game on NBC in 23 years and they actually showed out.

They unfortunately did not pick up the win but they didn't go down to the Nuggets without a fight and that's something they could hang their hat on.

But that energy did not carry over into the game next night against the Hawks as the Kings get obliterated by 33. The Kings got destroyed in transition and they couldn't find a rhythm offensively.

And it won't get any easier as the team departs on a 5 game road trips and it will be another murder's row of opponents.
