Kings took another L against the Nuggets this time in the Mile High City. The Kings fought valiantly, but were ultimately bested by in the closing seconds by a Jokic hip check to Fox followed by a Morris dagger 3. It unfortunately overshadowed the fact that the Kings played terrific for much of the game to have a chance at winning the game, but it was not be. While the loss does suck, and there is no room for moral victories anymore, the Kings not need to hold their heads as they fought well and played good basketball against a very good Nuggets team.

The Kings then went into OKC to pick up their 1st win in 5 games against the OKC Thunder. While it looked ugly at times, the Kings got it together after getting punched in the mouth and put them away early in the 4th to win going away. Sure the Thunder were missing key players and it was Shai and a bunch of dudes from the NBA clearance aisle, but these dudes play hard, and it was good to see the Kings be able to outplay them to win the game.

The Kings now head into Wednesday and Thursday facing their Play-In Tournament rivals the Pelicans and Spurs on a back to back on the road. These 2 games are must win for the Kings if they are to have any hope of making the Play-In. 

Will they rise to the challenge this time around? Or will it be the same old Kings where they wilt when the pressure starts to mount?
