An in-depth teaching on Fasting and Prayer. In this teaching, the role of a disciple is re-emphasized. We see Jesus who is our example, praying in the scriptures and not only did he pray, he fasted also. As believers, we must forget comfort; and it is not what you do, but who you are that reflects what you do. This teaching covers the fact that prayer is a discipline and it is does not come automatically once you become born again. We examine the book of Timothy a bit and we see the instructions given for spiritual growth, which is not possible without spiritual exercises. Lastly, we see that a place of devotion is needed and it is possible to engage in something one isn't devoted to.

An in-depth teaching on Plans, Purposes and Pursuits. In this teaching, the book of Revelation chapter 4, verse 11 is further explained. It explains how no creation on earth is created for the purpose of the creation but all creation was created for the purpose of the creator. We see how the world has its purpose and the system of this world is not in the plan of God. There is a course laid out for a believer to follow and it is not abnormal to follow the plan of God. It is emphasized that as believers, we are not of this world and if we get immersed in this world, we forget why we are created. Emphasis was laid on the mind and the thoughts that occupies ones mind. We learn that the mind is very vital and it should not be occupied with negative thoughts. Lastly, we learned that maturity is not about quoting scriptures, but doing the word.
