You know, humans are a lot like those pottery pieces.  You can’t merely look at the exterior and know if there is “integrity” with us, especially when it comes to our commitment to God.  The only way to know for sure is to pour some water into our lives in order to determine if we leak, break or maintain our integrity.  And we’re going to see an example of that water being poured into the lives of three men in the text we’re going to look at today.

To say this was a “dream come true” is an understatement.  But, like most similar stories, we enjoy seeing dreams come true for others.  And in our text this morning we’re going to see that occur, not with aspirations, but with a literal dream!

As we look at the culture around us today, we often find ourselves feeling like Kelly and I did in that moment, consistently being coerced/tempted to “cave”.  Maybe not in physical activities, but in our convictions for Christ.  Of course, that’s not new.  In fact, we’re going to see an example of it in our text this morning as we begin this new series entitled Living in Exile.

So, what goes through your head when a situation such as that occurs?  Exactly, "that's not fair...that's hypocritical!"  Well, this morning we're going to be talking about the issue of hypocrisy and, probably, one of the most misunderstood passages in all of Scripture about it.
