In this episode, we look at the importance of contending for the faith. We are called by God to contend for the faith as it was once delivered unto the saints. We look at what it really means to contend and how we do so earnestly. We also look at the types of attacks the enemy will try to throw our way. Then lastly we will look at the greatest way we contend, by living out the Word of God. In a day of lies, deceptions and heresies, we can't allow the Word of God to be watered down, we need to stand up for the Gospel in its fullness and be ready to contend for it. 

In this episode, we look at the lives of Samson and Samuel and see how their lives were consecrated to the Lord. All throughout their lives and in the great exploits they were able to perform in the service of God, we see that God had set them apart for His special purpose. We need to understand that we today are consecrated because we are born again. We have given our lives to Him, and we now belong to Him. We have to take our consecration seriously and we need to understand what it entails for the way we live our day to day lives. 

In this episode, we look at what it truly means to take up our cross and follow Christ. We are called to follow Him all the way to the cross, but before we can successfully do this, we need to know exactly what this entails and what we need to do. God has called us to die to ourselves and die daily, and we do this through the crucifying of the soul. Throughout this lesson, we look through the scriptures to see what our soul is and how we can crucify our soul, in order to surrender more fully to Christ. Let's make the choice today to crucify our souls. 

In this episode, we examine what exactly the earnest of the Spirit is. We find throughout our study that the Lord has given us the down-payment of the Spirit and He has also given us the intent of the Spirit. Once we understand what we have in the earnest of the Spirit, we need to live in that understanding. When we have it successfully operating within us, we will bear the fruits of the Spirit throughout every area of our lives and we will be able to walk in the Spirit. We need to make the choice today to cultivate this great gift that God has placed in our lives.

The greatest way to be involved in the ministry, is to not just be a part of it, but to be totally consumed in the ministry and the spreading of the Gospel. We need to give our burdens to the Lord and give Him time and space to work. When we wait upon the Lord it needs to be with expectation and patience, and once we successfully wait upon Him, we will find strength and deliverance in the Lord. Our resting and waiting must not be passive, they must be active and when they are, we will see the fruit of our actions. Let's wait upon the Lord today.

We are told in scripture to go from glory to glory, and we do this by our growth. We need to stay in the path of grace and not fall back into legalism. We need to keep going even in the midst of the growing pains and trust God because He is the one who brings the growth, all we can do is surrender to His will and create the right environment for growth to occur. Let's make the choice to grow in grace together.

The first time we see God mentioned, in Genesis 1, His name is Elohim. We need to understand Him in this special and unique way, not just as Lord but also as our personal Creator. His status as Creator leads to His love for us and provision for us. We need to replicate His love in our lives and trust in His provision. We need to make the choice to know Him as Elohim.
