Destroy Your Enemies! 

I am moved to remind you on this life saving inspirations to keep you over in victory through your life battles or the common challenges of Life under the Heaven and encourage you, that God had already handed your enemies, over to you, I mean God has already handed the enemies of your soul, for your life victory; assuring you that you would reach your destination if you care to listen with a humble repented, seeking heart and to obey his instructions in the light of his living Word, and that God will continue to lead you firmly in his righteousness through Jesus Christ our Salvation and eternal Hope of Glory!  

On this wisdom, remember When God delivers us from a life of sin, we must not re-cross the bridge that God has brought us over. 

There should be no place in our lives where we would entertain the things that once had the power to destroy us.   

God is leading each of us to a place where we can discover his greatest intentions for our lives. 

Compromises large or small allow the enemy of our lives/enemy of our soul to slip in and distract, delay, or keep us from reaching that destination. Therefore, I want to encourage you to determine today to show no mercy to the old enemies that once had a hold on your life.   

Amen, Yes, Precious souls, I want to share with you this inspiring story of the Israelites as recorded in the Book of Deuteronomy 7:1-2 in the Bible.

Impossible Odds

“The Lord said to Gideon, “You have too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength. Therefore, tell the people, ‘Whoever is timid or afraid may leave and go home.’” Twenty-two thousand of them went home, leaving only ten thousand who were willing to fight. But the Lord told Gideon, “There are still too many! Bring them down to the spring, and I will sort out who will go with you and who will not.”- Judges 7:2-4

The odds were against Gideon’s winning the war. He had only thirty-two thousand men. The Midianites the enemy were as numerous as locusts. Imagine Gideon’s surprise when God asked him to whittle down his army by twenty-two thousand. Surely winning was impossible! But God tested Gideon’s faith even further by asking him to use only the men who lapped up water like dogs. Now only three hundred men remained. Later that night the small group of warriors encircled the enemy’s camp. In one accord they broke their clay jars holding torches, and light flooded the night. They blew their ram’s horns and shouted and watched in amazement as the enemy defeated itself without a single casualty in Gideon’s army!

Without a doubt Gideon and his men understood that God was with them even when it seemed there was no way out.

Take courage and know when you face overwhelming circumstances, you are in a perfect position for God to intervene on your behalf. It is in those times that, like Gideon, you learn to trust God and discover that he is always with you, even when you face impossible odds

“Our present troubles are quite small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see right now; rather, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For the troubles we see will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.”- 2 Corinthians 4:17-18

Some people would argue that the concept Paul presents in these verses is a cop-out, an “opiate.” Indeed, if we are trying to avoid the pressures of life and secure some future pleasure, they might be right. However, if we are fixing our eyes on the eternal God and he is transforming us into his likeness, that’s another story!

Our challenge is to learn to see Jesus as he is. Paul tells us to leave our worldly understanding behind and to lay hold of the true, eternal Treasure, Jesus himself. Jesus told the Samaritan woman, “God is Spirit,” and therefore, spiritually discerned, and his disciples, “On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you” (John 14:20). “That day” was after his resurrection, and it is now. Our present troubles are designed to turn our attention away from the temporal and toward the eternal, that we might live in God’s glory, now and forever!

Remember!

God is speaking to Job out of the whirlwind, and saying, “In the sunshine and the warmth you cannot meet me; but in the hurricane and the darkness when wave after wave has swept down and across the soul, you shall see my form and know that your Redeemer lives.” Hallelujah and Amen- take courage precious souls knowing that in Christ is our life victory, don’t allow the challenges of life to rob you of your walk of faith, rather draw closer and closer to God in your daily relationship through Faith, Hope, Love and obedience in Jesus name.
