I begin a series on the subject of "Blood Covenant."  What is it and how does it relate to us today as Christians? Much in every way. In the Blood Covenant we come to understand the mercy of God and His commitment to us. Jesus established the ultimate Blood Covenant in His own blood. Heb 13:20ERV  "I pray that the God of peace will give you every good thing you need so that you can do what he wants. God is the one who raised from death our Lord Jesus, the Great Shepherd of his sheep. He raised him because Jesus sacrificed his blood to begin the new agreement that never ends. I pray that God will work through Jesus Christ to do the things in us that please him. To him be glory forever. Amen."

When I was a new believer I struggled with sin consciousness. I knew God wanted to use me, but I felt so unable, unworthy, unusable. At this time, after attending a meeting, a man from Africa walked up to me and my family. He began to 'read our mail' and through the word of knowledge and prophecy he began to speak over each of our lives. When he came to me he began to tell me how God would use me. I tried to say to him how I was struggling but he would not let me finish. He simply said, "You are dead!"  Each time I tried to protest to him he would not let me get the words out of my mouth but would keep saying, "You're Dead!" And that's how that conversation ended. Through all of these years the truth of that statement has continuously unfolded to me. It is the essesence of Paul's revelation to us in Romans, Ephesians, Colossians, etc. I trust this will encourage you in your relationship with God.

It almost seems like a contradiction:  How to see what you cannot see, and how to not look at what you do see!

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Heb 11:10  For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

Heb 11:13  These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

"Not seen," "Looking for," "Seen them afar off." 

Real faith sees what the natural man cannot, and looks not at what at what the natural man sees.

The apostle Paul tells Timothy to "Fight the good fight of faith" (1 Timothy 6:12).  Near the end of his life, Paul writes again to Timothy and says, "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith..." (2 Timothy 4:7).   There has been a lot of confusion on the subject of 'spiritual warfare.'  Various extremes have been propagated in the Church and passed off as 'spiritual warfare.'  This series takes a scriptural look at what it means to 'fight the good fight of faith' so you will know how to stand against the attacks of the devil.

This is a story of two veils mentioned in the bible and what the significance is for us as believers. In both cases they had to do with the glory of God. Something happened to both of these veils in the New Covenant. Find out what this means to you!

Luke 4:43  And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

Mat 12:28  But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Luke 10:9  And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.

What is the Kingdom of God? How do we operate in it? How does it work? This is one area that many believers today have no clue about, yet it was central to the message of Jesus and the early church. We must understand this aspect of the gospel to appropriate and activate ALL that God has for us in the New Covenant.
