Maney came into work this morning with a dilemna that he was facing. Today is his son's first day of kindergarten. He wasn't planning on going but as he was leaving, his wife made a comment to him saying she really wished he would be able to be there. So...we handle this live on the air. Find out what he decides!
This morning we sent Maney home from work so he could be with his son and his wife for his son's first day of kindergarten. This got us wondering - did you ever get sent home from work? Why? Maybe you were the one sending someone home from work - you'll never believe what people had to say!
We like to try new things here on The MRL Morning Show. When Roy & LauRen both came in with a story of their friend's bad date...we knew what we had to do. We had to turn today into "Worst Date Wednesday!" We took calls from listeners who think they can win the award for the worst date. The competition was tough. From marriages to restraining orders to helping commit a crime. This will definitely make you feel better about some of your bad dates!
It's back to school time so why not reminisce on some of the things we did back in high school or college. You think cheating on a test is a confession? Try stealing a teacher's car! Yep. That's just ONE of the confessions we got this morning!
Listen in to today's show where we cover can't beat LauRen, War of the Roses and listen to all the different confessions poeple have, because everyone knwos it's confession Wednesday! Think of a confession of your's and let us know on next Wednesday's episode. Enjoy!!
You know we love our odd national holidays. Today is not just any ordinary Wednesday, it's National Lemon Juice Day! We decided to play a fun game with our listeners where we disguised 4 cups of liquid. Three have lemonade in it and one has pure lemon juice. We got 4 callers on the line and they got to choose which cup and which MRL member they would play with. Who ends up with the lemon juice?
Not too long ago, LauRen revealed that she would be going back to school to learn Italian! We were super proud of her and yesterday we sent her back to school! She came back with stories, audio, and Italian words!
