  • What's next for Expo City Dubai? Sholto Douglas-Home, the Chief Sales and MarComms Officer for Expo City Dubai joined TSB. 6/9/22.

    Dubai Expo City welcomed dozens of visitors on Saturday, with many stepping foot on the site for the first time. 

     

    Those who visited Expo 2020 Dubai during its six-month duration said returning to the site stoked fond memories of the world's fair. But for those who missed it, it was a chance to get a feel of the historic event. 

     

    While much of the area is still closed until next month's official relaunch, there is plenty on offer for those looking to spend a few hours exploring the site. 

     

    Tours inside the two pavilions that are currently open to the public — Terra and Alif — remain popular with visitors. Entrance fees for the pavilions are Dh50 each.

    Meeting and working together at one real estate company, the four started their journey together before all entering other companies within the industry but remaining extremely close. Realising that all professionals go through the same feelings a day, the page ‘OnlyCommision - OnlyComms’ was created in April 2022.

  • Gautam Adani is the 3rd Richest Man in the World. Ameet Desai spoke about his extraordinary story. 1/9/22

    Ameet H. Desai is the founder of Anubhuti Advisors LLP, an Equity and Strategic Advisory Firm. 

      

    In his previous stint, he was the Group CFO and Board member at Adani Group, an Indian Conglomerate. 


    He joined TSB to discuss the news that. Indian billionaire Gautam Adani is now the world's third richest man.

     

    Gautam Adani was already Asia's richest man. Now he's also the world's third richest person, overtaking LVMH (LVMHF) chairman Bernard Arnault and becoming the first Asian person to take that spot, according to Bloomberg and its Billionaires Index. 

    Adani, who runs one of India's top conglomerates, is now believed to be worth approximately $137 billion, the tracker shows. 

     

    That's after a surge this week placed him just behind Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk and Amazon (AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos, whose own fortunes are estimated at $251 billion and $153 billion, respectively.

    An elephant was brought to The Oval on Ganesh Chaturthi 

     

    The Oval, which is hosting its 100th Test match, once had an elephant brought onto the grounds on the day Ganesh Chaturthi was being celebrated during India's 1971 tour of England. Then India captain Ajit Wadekar, who called sighting the elephant a good omen, went into the pavilion and prayed to Lord Ganesha for India's win.

    Abu Dhabi Cricket and Sports Hub becomes the first, and only, venue in the World to have two such ovals at the same facility. 

     

    Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub’s (ADCSH) magnificent Tolerance Oval has been granted full International Cricket Council (ICC) accreditation as a day/night venue, meaning the venue can host official T20 and One Day International cricket matches just two years after its opening.
