Kitchen Table Magic

In this episode, I’m talking to Cedric Phillips, Media Manager for Star City Games.com, commentator, and host. Cedric is a longtime pro, commentator, and writer of strategic Magic content at Star City Games.

Cedric is a showman. His passion and dedication sports entertainment shows up in his professional delivery of his Magic commentary. Cedric shares with us how he started playing Magic and what he hopes to see in the future of Magic broadcasting. He also talks about his friendship with Gerry Thompson and Patrick Sullivan.

I had a great time hanging out back in the fall of 2016.

Links to Cedric’s podcasts, CED Talks and his show on Fan Vice.com will be in the show notes at Kitchen Table Magic.org.

Special Thanks to Gerry Thompson for putting in a good word with Cedric at GP Portland last year.

Also! If you’re a new listener to the show, go back and listen to my interview with Gerry Thompson in Season 1 episode 10, where he shares a funny story playing Magic with Cedric.

So listeners! How is Season 2 going so far?

In this episode, I’m talking to Erin Campbell, co-host of the Girlfriend Bracket and Magic Mics. Her edgy and upbeat point of view creates entertaining and hilarious shows.

Erin fosters inclusivity in our community and is a role model for women and trans women.

Along with her co-hosts Katie, Kris and Hallie, they have reclaimed the term the Girl Friend Bracket, which used to mean the back tables at an event.

We talk about all this and more…

I am excited to share my conversation with Erin Campbell.

I’m really looking forward to this season.

That was Randy Buehler, Hall of Famer and former Magic Commentator.

Such irony, for Randy to realize that he needed to cut the Killer Bees while playing in a Bee keeper’s warehouse. Randy tells us the origins of that old school tech. And how it influences modern deck building today.

Season 2 premiers Tuesday, January 31st.

Hear ridiculous stories from the OG’s of Magic, all on the new season of Kitchen Table Magic!
