This or that…or…probably, most likely, both? It all depends on the moment, but these ladies — if you haven’t figured it out yet — don’t like to be pigeon-holed.
In this episode of Kitty on the Tank, the gals dive into a fun round of this-or-that questions, exploring the little choices, preferences, and a plethora of opinions that make every ride an adventure of its own.
From glitzy to grimey, to five-stars, sleeping under the stars, dive bars, to all the things in between, it's all on the table. Because when it comes to life on the road, what sounds like an easy choice can quickly turn into a passionate and hilarious debate. Sometimes there’s a clear winner, sometimes it’s a hard pass, and sometimes the answer is simply… both!
The conversation also explores the things we tell ourselves and how our preferences can change depending on the day, the ride, and the company we keep. After all, what makes a ride fucking rad is rarely about the destination or doing what’s expected.
And if you've ever wondered how the gals wrap up a long day in the saddle, here's a hint: as the final 45 minutes of a ride day approaches, someone is bound to start asking, “This or that?” It's become a tradition, a way to wind down, compare opinions, and squeeze a little more fun out of the miles.
This episode also marks the second to last episode of Season One!
But don't go too far!
In Episode 10, Chantill and Gina will be together in New Orleans celebrating Gina's 50th birthday. And who knows? There might be a little Never Have I Ever in the mix AND a few impromptu guests. You. Never. Know.

How do you choose the right motorcycle?
In this episode, we’re reflecting on the motorcycles we’ve ridden, the things each bike has taught us, and just how much goes into finding the right ride.
But motorcycles aren't just machines. They have style, vibes, histories, and communities attached to them. Motorcycling is tribal, and everyone is going to have an opinion about what you should ride — especially if you’re a woman. Recommendations can be helpful, but ultimately, you get to choose the bike that feels right for you.
From beginner bikes to dream bikes, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. The motorcycle that’s right for you depends on what - and how - you actually want to ride. Are you commuting? Cruising? Touring? Hitting the twisties? Exploring off-road? Being thoughtful about the kind of riding you want to do can make all the difference.
We talk about some of the biggest factors that shape a bike choice, including power, weight, suspension, and riding position and, most importantly, whether the bike inspires confidence. Your experience level matters, too. Choosing a bike with power that matches where you are as a rider can help you build skills without getting in over your head.
For new riders, we share some practical tips: test ride different bikes, learn basic maintenance, invest in good gear, be honest about your experience and goals, and spend time getting comfortable with your bike — even if that means practicing in an empty parking lot on a weekend.
Every bike you ride teaches you something. What matters most is that you pay attention.
And if you’re trying to figure out what bike is right for you, reach out! We’d love to have a jam session and talk motorcycles with you.

Sometimes saying yes is easy.
And sometimes, you say yes… and then you arrive and begin to wonder what the hell you’ve gotten yourself into.
In Episode 7, Chantill and Gina are back from their ride to Canada for the Women’s Moto Summit — Chantill returning for her second year, and Gina experiencing it for the very first time.
They talk about what it felt like to arrive this year compared to last, the warmth of being welcomed in, and the unexpected resistance they each carried with them through the door.
Because sometimes resistance shows up even when you don’t want it to and when you’re not expecting it. And, thankfully — usually — it softens because when you’re surrounded by good people, sharing stories, laughing over a silly moment, throw yourself into wayward and wild dancing (haha — we do not lie), slapping stickers on things, you realize you’re not the only one who showed up with a little armor.
They reflect on the moments that felt easy, the moments that didn’t, and the experiences that slowly created enough space for something to shift.
They also share a few of their favorite pro moves for finding moments of grounding while traveling — those little things you can do on the road to get back into your body, back into the moment, and back to yourself.
And because this is still Kitty on the Tank, they wrap up with one last road story: the tale of the finger wagger. Just wait till you hear this one.
It’s a reflection about motorcycles, women, friendship, resistance, connection, and what can happen when we give ourselves permission to say yes — even when yes isn’t easy.
If the idea of “keep saying yes” resonates with you — those moments when you have to come back to your why, recommit, and stay open to receive the thing you’re wanting — we want to hear from you.

Chantill and Gina are back together again (with first time special guest, Max Mackey), and this time, they’re unpacking a super serious topic. For real.
In Episode 6, we’re talking about one of life’s great equalizers: people who are absolute dicks on the road. Motorcyclists, drivers, trucks, cars, lane changers, tailgaters, people who apparently believe turn signals are optional… we’ve got stories.
From the downright dangerous to the completely ridiculous, Chantill and Gina are recounting some of the wildest, funniest, and most WTF moments they’ve witnessed while out on the road. Because when you spend enough time riding motorcycles, you learn pretty quickly that there are two kinds of people: the people who understand how to share the road… and the people who apparently woke up that morning and chose violence.
But here’s the uncomfortable part: sometimes, we’re the dick. Yep. Even us.
Because being reckless — no matter the reason — isn’t always about the other person. Sometimes, actually always, it’s about what happens inside our nervous system when someone cuts us off, rides too close, drives too slow, or does something so profoundly stupid that we can practically feel our blood pressure rising.
So we’re getting into what it looks like to catch yourself in that moment, regulate your nervous system, take a breath, and maybe choose not to become the very asshole you’re currently yelling about.
And .. we wanted to make this conversation even spicier, we’ve got a guest joining us who brings a little extra beef to the conversation.
It’s spicy. It’s relatable. It’s a little dangerous. And, honestly, you’re probably going to recognize yourself in at least one of these stories.
Buckle up, buttercup. And don’t be a dick.
And stay tuned for Episode 7, when Chantill and Gina are back from their most recent ride together — the Women’s Moto + Wellness Summit — with even more stories from the road. You already know there’s going to be some great shit to talk about.

As riders we celebrate motorcycling for the freedom, adventure, and connection it brings. But what about the things we don’t want to talk about? The things that non-riders seem to focus on: the danger, the carelessness, the tragedy.
In this heartfelt episode of Kitty on the Tank, Chantill and Gina begin by acknowledging two recent tragedies that have people locally and globally back on their heels. While these losses are difficult to talk about, they open the door to an honest discussion about the reality that comes with loving life on two wheels.
Together, they reflect on how the choice to be a rider can affect us in different ways, not only as riders, but also as partners, parents, family members, and friends. They explore the emotional weight of witnessing loss while choosing to continue doing something that brings so much joy and purpose.
Rather than allowing fear to have the final word, this conversation gently shifts toward empowerment. Chantill and Gina discuss the importance of making safety your first line of defense: investing in rider education, taking refresher courses, maintaining your motorcycle, planning your rides thoughtfully, and wearing quality protective gear every single time you ride. These aren't just recommendations, they're acts of love for yourself and for the people waiting for you at home.
The episode closes with a compassionate conversation about navigating relationships with loved ones who may not understand or support riding. Whether they ride beside you or simply worry from afar, honoring those relationships starts with demonstrating that you take your own safety seriously.
Because the greatest way to honor your passion for riding is to give yourself every opportunity to keep doing it for years to come.
This is a tender, honest conversation about loss, resilience, responsibility, and the incredible community that reminds us why every safe ride matters.

This episode is extra special because, for the first time since they started the show, Gina and Chantill are recording in-person instead of miles apart. The occasion? Chantill's big birthday celebration!
Enter the unforgettable gift: a motorcycle-shaped whiskey decanter that is equal parts totally on brand, absolutely badass, and maybe just the smidgiest over the top. But sure to be the center of many conversations to come…
Through the laughs, as always, Kitty on the Tank takes a gentle sweeper into deeper subjects.
Inspired by the decanter sitting between them, Gina and Chantill unpack the idea that every story has two sides. Every adventure has moments that make you feel unstoppable...and moments that make you question all of your life choices. They share the rides that thrilled them, the experiences that challenged them, and the lessons they never saw coming.
Of course, no episode would be complete without celebrating the incredible people they've met along the way. From fierce women who redefine what it means to ride, to the men who've become trusted friends, mentors, and road companions, this episode is a love letter to the motorcycle community that continues to show up, lift each other up, and make every mile worth it.
So grab your favorite drink (bonus points if it's poured from a ridiculously cool decanter), pull up a seat, and join Gina and Chantill for an episode full of laughter, heartfelt reflections, a little birthday magic, and proof that the best conversations - just like the best rides - always have more than one side.

You know that saying, "The journey is the destination?"
Yeah...it's also where all the weird shit happens.
This week, Gina checks in from somewhere between New Orleans and California after what was supposed to be a straightforward ride west. I’m sure you can guess that…it wasn't.
Because the road doesn't care about your f*cking itinerary.
Heat? Reroute.
Wildfire smoke? Believe it or not...reroute again.
Drop a laptop somewhere along the way? Uh oh.
Turns out one of the greatest riding skills has nothing to do with leaning into corners. It's learning how to hold your plans loosely enough that adventure and life can surprise you and you can leave enough space for the glory.
We dive into both the Outer Game and the Inner Game of rolling with whatever the road throws your way. On the practical side, we're swapping travel tips, talking weather apps (major points for Drive Weather) that have become absolute ride-savers, and sharing how we've been using AI to rethink routes, uncover hidden gems, and make smarter decisions before the kickstand even comes up.
Along the way, there are mechanical gremlins, a story that's almost too ridiculous to be true, unexpected acts of kindness, a few deep rabbit holes, and more than one reminder that the best adventures rarely go according to plan.
So here's our question for you...
What's the best story the road has given you?
The breakdown. The wrong turn. The person you never expected to meet. The moment that still makes you laugh every time you tell it.
Share it with us on Instagram @KittyOnTheTank. We just might feature you in an upcoming episode.
Now quit waiting for the perfect plan.

Have you ever wanted to point your bike toward the horizon and just...go?
In this episode, we're talking all about riding solo, why we love it, what scares us, how we prepare, and why we think every rider should experience it at least once in their own way.
Gina takes us back to her 2017 100-day sabbatical, when she spent nearly 90 days crossing the country on two wheels. With no interstates, no reservations, and no real plan beyond following the road, she discovered that solo travel isn't just about where you end up, it's about learning to trust yourself.
As Gina gets ready to head out on another solo adventure from New Orleans to Sacramento, we dive into both the inner game and the outer game of riding alone. We talk about confidence, fear, excitement, and how the inner and outer game dance. We also uncover a sweet little nugget about the “spark” and we wonder…what’s your spark?
Of course, we also get into the practical stuff, packing (and overpacking), our favorite can't-live-without gear, why rain gear is basically a good luck charm, and how to pack the equivalent of 4 bottles of wine into your tank bag. I mean….
Whether you're a seasoned solo rider, you've been thinking about taking your first trip alone, or you're just curious what draws us back to the open road every chance we get, we hope this conversation leaves you feeling inspired to chase your own adventure be it in a car, on a bicycle, or on your two beautiful feet.
We'd love to hear from you! Have you ridden solo? What's your biggest hesitation? or your favorite memory? Share your stories and photos with us on Instagram @KittyOnTheTank. We can't wait to celebrate this community with you.

Holy shit. We finally did it!
After years of road trips, thousands of miles, countless voice notes, endless helmet-comms conversations, and roughly four thousand (give or take) conversations that started with "You know what we should do...?" Kitty on the Tank is officially a thing.
In this first episode, we're introducing ourselves, telling the story behind the name, and sharing why two women who've spent decades pushing boundaries, chasing adventures, and occasionally making questionable decisions decided to start a podcast.
We're also diving into what you'll hear on Kitty on the Tank moving forward:
🏍️ The Outer Game: motorcycles, road trips, gear, travel, riding skills, adventure, and all the practical stuff.
🔥 The Inner Game: courage, freedom, identity, friendship, fear, reinvention, risk, saying yes, and what happens when women stop playing small.
Because while motorcycles may be the door, they're rarely the ultimate point (well, sometimes ;)
Along the way, we talk about:
Most importantly, we're inviting YOU into the conversation.
Why do you ride?
And if you don't, why do you want to?
What do you ride?
What's the thing that helps you feel most alive about riding?
Share a favorite or challenging adventure...
We want to know.

Kitty on the Tank is what happens when two longtime friends, two motorcycles, and absolutely zero interest in playing small collide.
Hosted by motorcyclists, adventurers, and storytellers…
We talk motorcycles.
We talk motorcycle travel, road trips, motorcycle gear, maintenance, riding skills, women's riding communities, epic adventures, and the incredible women redefining what it means to take up space on two wheels.
But this isn't really a motorcycle podcast.
It's a podcast about saying yes.
Every episode explores both the outer game and the inner game: the roads we travel, the risks we take, the stories we collect, and what all of it teaches us about courage, freedom, identity, friendship, resilience, grief, growth, and being fully alive.
Along the way, you'll find shenanigans, belly laughs, hard-earned lessons, badass guests, listener stories, and our favorite recurring segment: Helmet Comms Comedy Hour—where the ridiculous, hilarious, and unexpectedly profound conversations that happen while riding motorcycles get their moment in the spotlight.
We're fierce, kind, compassionate, and clear as fuck. Because clear is kind and we don't tiptoe around the things that matter.
Whether you're a seasoned rider, thinking about getting your motorcycle license, planning your next adventure, or simply looking for inspiration to live a bigger, bolder, more authentic life, there's a seat for you here.
Because motorcycles aren't the ultimate point.
They're the door.
