Why does a born-again Christian still have sins issues in his life? Because even though our spirit is saved and heaven is waiting for us, however, the flesh doesn't get saved. We must face the reality that our flesh will continue to sin from time to time until death. Yes, our spirit is born again, and we become a son of God, and that spirit cannot sin if we are a true born-again Christian and Jesus is living with us. However, that won't happen until we enter heaven and living with Jesus forever. As long as we are still sitting on this corrupted, stinking, filthy world, everyone will sin. Don't listen to those false preachers who claim that he sins not. The first epistle letter of John 1:8 already said that whoever said he does no sin, is a deceiver. Remember, God's moral standard is extremely high and no one can possibly keep the law. God only required us to confess our sins to him and keep the faith through Jesus Christ. Anyway trying to accomplish Self-righteousness is impossible. 2 Corinthians 9:6
