I am writing to you, fathers [those believers who are spiritually mature], because you know Him who has existed from the beginning.

Qualities of Church Leaders
5 The reason I stationed you in Crete[a] was so that you could set things in order and complete what was left unfinished,[b] and to raise up and appoint church elders[c] in every city, just as I had instructed you.
The weekly conversation with Shaun & Steve
Shaun Smit and Steve Bisset share their conversation every week with you, raw and unedited, sharing insights, thoughts, and realities of ministry leadership, discipleship, and equipping for leaders and believers alike.
At this time, Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. The moment he came out of the water, he saw the sky split open and God’s Spirit, looking like a dove, come down on him. Along with the Spirit, a voice: “You are my Son, chosen and marked by my love, pride of my life.” Mark 1:9-11 The Message
Ephesians 3:14-15
A Prayer for the Ephesians
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name.
Ephesians 3:14-15
New International Version
14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a] in heaven and on earth derives its name.
He explained, “You’ve been given the intimate experience of insight into the hidden truths and mysteries[c] of the realm of heaven’s kingdom, but they have not. 12 For everyone who listens with an open heart will receive progressively more revelation[d] until he has more than enough.[e] But those who don’t listen with an open, teachable heart, even the understanding that they think they have will be taken from them.[f] 13 That’s why I teach the people using parables, because they think they’re looking for truth, yet because their hearts are unteachable, they never discover it. Although they will listen to me, they never fully perceive the message I speak. Matthew 13 Message Bible
Friday conversation with Shaun & Steve
We Are Ambassadors!
What does it mean to speak on Christ's behalf?
Why do we not speak as true representatives?
2 Corinthians 5:20
Amplified Bible
20 So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.
To be ambassadors for Christ means that we are his diplomatic agents of the highest rank sent to represent His Kingdom
and authorized to speak on his behalf. We are the voice of the Kingdom of heaven to the earth, invested with royal power through the name of Jesus and the authority of his blood.
Ambassador: an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative to a foreign country.
Matthew 16:7-11
Amplified Bible
7 They began to discuss this among themselves, saying, “He said that because we did not bring bread.” 8 But Jesus, aware of this, said, “You men of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves that you have no bread? 9 Do you still not understand or remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you picked up? 10 Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many large baskets you picked up? 11 How is it that you fail to understand that I was not talking to you about bread?
