Rico Lamitte: The Suave Life
After seeing a significant number of his family and extended family die from cancer, today’s guest on our show was prepared to die as well when they found a tumor in his throat. He was unhappy at his job, struggling with his marriage and battling addiction. Suddenly the prospect of dying hit him like a metaphorical train. Death would be one end to his difficulties but what happens, however, if he lived? He did. He survived.
Introducing Ricco Lamitte: Learn the story of Rico Lamitte and how he chose to live as he never had before, how he was healed and how that healing has led him to follow his passion to heal and inspire others. He is a 2x TEDx Alumnus, motivational speaker, emcee, and a serial entrepreneur with a firm footing in the rapidly expanding global cannabis industry.
Today he Rico is the host of 2 current video podcasts, The Suave Cast (in pre-production) & The Elev8ed Life (With Seun Adedeji). He also hosts the video web series, Canndid Boss Talk (with Viridi Media) where he conducts in-depth interviews with celebrities, professional athletes, executives, and the most interesting people in and adjacent to The Cannabis Industry.
Rico was a co-founder of the National Diversity and Inclusion Cannabis Alliance (NDICA), and actively assists several nationwide social impact organizations with their own community initiatives in the same vein.
Early 2019 Rico was honored as one of the High Times 100 Most Influential People of Cannabis.
