Sworn in three weeks ago as Minneapolis' second Community Safety Commissioner, Todd Barnette shares his vision for a safer community and how his five departments can work together. 

Brooke Roper won a seat on the Hopkins, Minnesota School Board, ISD #270. Roper's campaign is centered on electric school buses, universal kindergarten, and school safety.

Louis Davis is the author of the forthcoming book, "One Team, One Fight, One Family."  It's the story of an African-American, Martial Arts athlete in the United States Armed Forces. 

 It was great to hear about Hennepin Healthcare Research Institute (HHRI) is working with BIPOC communities, including Black youth, to build trust and encourage the next generation of healthcare professionals.
