EAB is an invasive pest introduced from Asia that attacks and kills ash trees. This metallic wood boring beetle
was first found in Detroit, MI, and Ontario, Canada in 2002. It is believed to have arrived in shipping crates.

we encourage people from around the Twin Cities to volunteer at food shelves in
North Minneapolis right now to help them meet the increased demand. To find
volunteer opportunities, please visit https://volunteer.2harvest.org/community-based-
volunteering-opportunities/.
