The Dillon Fire in Siskiyou Cointy grew moderately overnight while the Blue Fire jumped up by 20%. Possible rain in forecast over the coming days gives hope of reprieve. Sigur-Björn reports.

Although public opposition seemed to suspend Fortuna City Council’s consideration of legal cannabis sales, the Council is still open to the possibility of allowing it. Daniel Mintz reports. 

This year, Siskiyou Land Conservancy aquired two pieces of riverfront property on Baduwa't, or Mad River, in Humboldt County, creating the largest riverfront reserve on the 113-mile river. Nat Cardos reports.
